stopped in after making res. 1 week ago. only to find they had a limited menu due to an expected large crowd.(?) Feed thrre adults and 1 child for 125.00 without drinks. Extra charge for house salad, after charging 26.99 for ny strip. Chicken with basil on pasta was VERY strong and wife felt in the entire way home. (4 hours) Not a good value for the money. Staff and bulding were ok but for the money not great,

I like Maxfield's. It's clean and the staff is professional. The primary drawback is access. This is not a restaurant to take someone in a wheelchair to. You must go up some stairs to the main...

I like Maxfield's. It's clean and the staff is professional. The primary drawback is access. This is not a restaurant to take someone in a wheelchair to. You must go up some stairs to the main dining level. Also, you must go downstairs into the basement for bathrooms. The menu is interesting if not expansive, and a rarity in Potsdam, summer outdoor seating.
