I just bought a desk from Kline's and wow are they jerks! They sent me the floor model! I know it is the floor model because it has scratches all over it from the hutch part of the desk which I did not buy! They said nothing about sending me the floor model! They said they would send a guy over to touch up the scratches but that's not what I want. I want what I paid for, A BRAND NEW DESK! This desk cost me $1000 and I am not settling for anything less than a new desk. They admitted it is a floor model I have it on my voicemail. They make such a big deal about the fact that it is a family business when in reality they are just scam artists trying to make a buck on unsuspecting customers. Also, the delivery guys told me that the father and son don't even get along. So much for family business! Pros: None Cons: Everything

I have a terrible story about shopping at Kline's that is still ongoing. I bought a $1,000 desk from them as well as 2 other expensive pieces of furniture. They ended up sending me the floor model which was not part of the deal at all. I did not pay full sticker price for a scratched up desk! It was scratched because it had a hutch sitting on top of it and these aren't tiny scratches. I can't believe they thought I wouldn't care! They admit that it is a floor model but wont order another one because they say it is not made anymore. That is a complete LIE! I called the manufacturer who told me that not only do they make it but it is a brand new model. I went back to Kline's and they denied that what I was telling them is true and they wont take back the damaged desk. They will only offer to try to touch it up They are LIARS and CHEATS! They pride themselves on being a family business but they are no better than the scummiest of used car salesmen. Do not support those jerks!

It appears service is not high on their list of priorities. After speaking with several friends and co-workers it seems a problem lies in that the furniture is not delivered anywhere close to the estimate given at the time of purchase/order. We were told six to eight weeks and it has been over 3 months. Two others that I am aware of have said this is their experience also. Then they offer a "nice little gift" to try to make things better. Well I don't need a gift. I want my furniture and now I want a discount!! And not 1/2 of 1 percent. My money spends well elsewhere and that's where it's going to go unless they step up. The owners need to be involved when it gets to this stage. Unhappy customers are not the way to grow a business, especially in these tough economic times. Pros: friendly Cons: coulnt find our account on 3 separate occasions even when they had 1500 of our money
