I had my hair colored and cut at Water Stone today and I am so happy! The stylist took her time consulting with me about the color process and the style best suited to my face shape and lifestyle, and the results are perfect. The owner is very pleasant and her staff is happy. The salon is large and the staff is very accommodating. I have another appointment scheduled and look forward to my next visit!

Worst experience ever ~ with colourist Neal Fillmore. I signed on to have a two-tone partial foil. He told me he would do a comb-in instead, one colour instead of two. Was to do a caramel, and did a copper instead. Coloured much more than requested. When I came in for a correction he refused to do it saying he couldn't satisfy me. He insulted both me and my husband. To be avoided.

I looked high and low for a salon that had experienced stylists who get it. There are plenty of educated stylists out there, but most will either cut your hair according to your literal instructions with no professional input, or they cut your hair in a nondescript, cookie cutter fashion, just like the client right before you. When I called Waterstone for an appt for myself and my daughter, I was encouraged to bring photos and ideas of what we liked. Jessica, who is also the owner, gave me a cut and style that reflected everything I asked for and more, but tailored to fit me. Consultation was thorough and unrushed. She opened my eyes to my own individual style, shape and hair structure. On top of that, she explained what she was doing and why, every step of the way, providing me with the instruction and understanding to keep the look I wanted. My new look is quick and easy and I very quickly felt confident that she would make me look great. She gets it! My daughter's stylist
