I have gone in here a couple of times to fawn over the fabrics, but $15 a yard for quilting fabric is too much for me. They have wonderfully complicated quilts on display for inspiration. They also have lots of tools for a quilter. This is a different type of store for downtown Portsmouth so it is nice to pop in here when shopping to relax and dream about new quilts. They do offer classes, but I am too intimidated by the beautiful quilts on the wall to take one. I am not a precision quilter so I get the impression they would tell me I am not a good quilter. PROS: Unique fabrics CONS: kind of expensive

Responding to the earlier email, I have taken their classes, most will accommodate beginners, just ask. The fabric choices make them look more difficult than they really are. A MUST SEE SHOP if you are in the area. Go ahead and try one of their classes, we learn by challenging ourselves. Enjoy! PROS: Great inspiration! Kaffee Fassett fabric line CONS: narrow space to move around in, no A/C in class room
