Okay...my mistake. I did not know that the business had been sold, nor did I bother to check it out. The previous business at this site was a family one, reputable one recommended by my appliance tech.
First when the fridge was delivered, the poor guy had to reschedule twice and it took three days to get it (it was an emergency, mind you!). After a couple weeks I noticed a leak and called. They were slammed, she said, and could she get back to me. Well, I waited. ....
Just as the 60 day warrenty was expiring I called again.
At first she couldn't find the invoice, but when she did, she said, "Your warrenty has expired!"
"I know, but I called you before it was up about this."
So, after some tongue-wrangling she sends someone out. He messes with the drain hose. "All better" he says, "If it slips out of there again, just go down there and put it in the drip pan."
Within two weeks it was defrosting onto the kitchen floor again.
I paid more for that refridgerator than many othersbecause it had a freezer in the bottom... I could have paid as much and bought a new one that would have suited my purpose for the price.
They should call themselves, "No Bargain Barn"
