I've been seeing two physicans at Kwan-Yin Healings Arts Center since April. They are my allies and I look forward to each appointment. They've been most helpful and supportive during my personal process of healing. I highly recommend this healing arts center for acupunture and mayan abdominal massages.

I researched a lot of local establishments before venturing out fora body piercing. I was new to this world and wanted to be informed.
I had heard a lot about Black Hole Body Piercing, so I started to check them out. They are the oldest in the business in Portland, have highly trained staff, meet or exceed all the safety standards and, most importantly, the staff are willing to answer any questions you may have no matter how silly you may think they are.
I was able to learn a lot about piercing, care for the piercings, and the ways that our bodies respond to piercings including healing and rejection of piercings. I was even allowed to watch a friend get pierced in order to learn more about the process.
They made me feel totally at ease and full of knowlege before I made any decisions about adding new holes to my body.

This is a must visit restaurant for anyone who loves the proclaimed "east coast style" sandwiches and/or pizza. While the philly cheesesteak is very popular, even the basic turkey sandwhich is far better than any other turkey sandwhich I have ever tried! Great prices, good portions, and a quality that is hard to come by. The restaurant is small inside, but there are picnic tables outside to eat at on a nice day and both the pizza and sandwhiches are perfect on-the-go food to take to a nearby park. HIGHLY recommended.

I admit it...I'm adventurous. Even I, however, had to think twice before I ordered Green Tea Ice Cream at Scooters. I ordered it sat down, took a glance around for hidden cameras, braced myself, and delved in.
Upon first taste, the nuttiness of the green tea blended with the cold smooth cream seemed like a frozen light chai...by the time I'd downed my third bite, I was hooked.
Scooters offers some "normal" fare..but they also offer icecream for vegans and the lactose intolerant as well as a wide range of inner-south-east approved flavors. I'll be back...and I'll continue to be adventurous here.
