I have never bought a vehicle from Broadway Toyota, but have always serviced my vehicle at a Toyota dealership. I will never take my vehicle back after noticing a huge dent in my car after being serviced. I am very aware of my car and it's wellbeing. If they did not do it someone else did it on their lot, they should have taken responsibility for it. Instead they refused that their guys did it. I will not take my car back there.
Pros: location
Cons: dishonest

I purchased a vehicle (2010 Prius) from Broadway Toyota recently and their sales staff was knowledgable, fast and excellent!!! From my salesWOMAN to finance...it was the best vehicle buying experience I've ever had. Not to mention their fabulous new building, cafe across the street and friendly service staff. I totally recommend you give them a try if you're in the market for a vehicle.
Pros: new state of the art building, cafe, lobby, service

We’ve always gone to Broadway Toyota for service and the new space is quite an improvement. They have comfortable chairs in the waiting area now and they also have a café across the street so I can whip out my lap top and get some work done while I wait. Other awesome things noted: Kid’s playroom for the runners, Toyota Rent a Car in the service department, and sweet bathrooms. Great place to hang out if your car is in need of some attention.

They were so busy with Cash for Clunkers they had no time to deal with me, since I was looking for an 8 passenger Sienna and they had none. They weren't interested in trying to track one down for me either (pity, since there were some in the Portland area, and I came to Broadway first based on their reputation. They could have done a dealer trade and earned my business). It wasn't a bad experience, I think if they weren't in the middle of Clunker-mania, we could have done a deal, but letting a sale get away because the fish are jumping into the boat for a while doesn't sit well with me. You never know who you're selling to, or what they do, or how many cars they may be buying, of what type, and when.
I wound up at Hannah Kia in the Vancouver Auto Mall, since Toyota is having supply issues right now, and had a the best buying experience of my life. The Sedona is a great car, and a bargain compared to the Sienna right now. Emir Filipovic, John Pelley, and Jeff Salisbury are fantastic, and their GM Rachel Smith is impressive. It's obvious integrity is important there. They'll give Broadway a run for their money as Kia continues to gain market share.
Pros: Nice facility
Cons: Too busy to do a dealer swap

We bought a used Corolla. We went there because my friend Julie told us how wonderful the people were. We got a great price on a one year old certified Corolla. They showed us a Carfax and KBB without us asking. We knew to ask for them but didn't have to. Our Salesperson Brian Ramsdell was fantastic. He showed us all the cars available. He seemed to really listen to our needs. Brad Gerber was the finance manager, He got us a much lower rate then we were expecting. What was really cool was when their sales manager, Chris Hall, came out to ask us about our experience while at the store. He seemed to genuinely care about us and how professional his staff was. So refreshing not being another "number!" I will, like my friend Julie, tell all friends and family about the great people at Broadway. My tip to others is to go see for yourself.
Pros: People and Facility

Just an oil change, that's all I wanted, soon found out I had to make an appt. After seeing 8 (yes 8) "service employees" walking around looking as if they had no destination I finally found one of the persons I needed to speak w/ to make said appt. It was made for 5 mts later. An hour and 10 mts later my oil change was done. But only after I was asked what I was doing looking at autos for sale on the lot.Appearently I didn't look like a customer. Only after he found out I had an auto there was he cool w/ me looking at his things. They did a fine job changing the filter. "Oil-Change quick stops" are the way to go. 15 mts, they vacuum, it's cheaper! I guess it's true what they say about never taking your auto to a dealor...

Great people! We purchased our 2009 Corolla from Josh and Dea. They were so easy to work with. Nothing like the experiences we have had from other dealerships in the past. It only took two hours from arriving at the dealership to driving off in our new car!!! Fast, easy and fun!! We will be telling everyone we know to go to Broadway.

December 1999 My wife Violeta and I (Roy) purchased a Toyota Corolla and leased a Tundra pickup truck. The Tundra deal was structured (allegedly) in such a way that upon the final and sixtieth (60) payment it would become a sale/purchase with no residual payment. At 10:45pm, just as I was about to drive off the lot with the Tundra Ali Sadri (one of the four alleged individuals involved) informed me that Zarkoob the Finance Manager worked out a better deal for me. I thought I would get lower monthly payments and lower total cost. The term buyer beware applies here because what I got was a whopping residual payment ($14K++) tagged on to the new better set of paperwork. The hour was late, I was tired, it was raining, my wife and I had been at the dealership since 5:30pm. Bottom line is I signed the paperwork, blindly trusting in the integrity of the individuals representing Broadway Toyota of Portland, OR. Days later Ali Sadri started sending harassing phone calls, ad-nausium asking how I liked the deal I got. When I finally reread the deal/contract I became physically and emotionally ill. There is hardly a day that goes by that I do not feel profound shame for letting my family down that night. Discussing this event with Fares Rustom over the phone and in person yielded little more than the realization that as he put it I have more and bigger lawyers than you could ever afford . At first I hoked up with attorney Rick Franklin, yet abandoned that effort as I am not a litigious person at heart and I needed to get on with my newly aquired job. Much later when I appeared my picket sign (buyer beware) in front of Broadway Toyota, someone called the police. Not just any officer of the law showed up, yet an officer of substantial rank in the Portland Police Force. I still have his business card. He asked me what I thought I was doing. I told him I was exercising my rights
