Have been going here for a couple years - but in the last 6 months things have really gone down hill. First problem was that clothes were not ready when promised. Second was attitude of manager when dealing with me - "what do you want me to do about it?". He couldn't manage to simply apologize - just kept blaming the employee who gave me the date. No customer service skills whatsoever. Third incident was last week - brought home my newly cleaned down-comforter and dicovered it had a tear in it. It was clearly damaged by Busy Bee - then the area around the tear was wadded together and pinned. Forget about anyone admitting the damage or offering to repair it - they just grabbed my money and let me walk out the door. I will never go here again. Cons: Poor customer service, damaged comforter.

The first week of August I took 4 sets of 20 year old drapries to be cleaned at Busy Bee Cleaners.10 days later when I went back to pick them up I was told by the guy there would be no charge as they had a" problem" and they "look like cr*p". The backing on the drapes had been stuck together and when the drapes dried and were opened up the backing came off . They had to be replaced. Unfortunately I also dropped off my wifes black short sleeved shirt to be cleaned . When I went back a week later ,he can't find the shirt.Sorry. He takes my name and says they'll call me. Nothing. I go back again to deal with/complain to another clerk on the weekend .I give her my name and she mentions the drapries are still in the computer.I recount the ruined drapes story and ask her to please find the shirt.No luck finding the shirt.,and she wants to put my name again in the spiral notebook ,and I'm told she'll talk to the new owner about it and he'll call me . Nothing. WTF??? This used to be a good local business. I'll never go back and hope to spare others the angst of lost or damaged items. Rating? a zero not a 1 (you can't leave a zero) I'm considering small claims court next. Bill in SE PDX Cons: Incompetent

I live in downtown Portland in a condo and use busybee for our dry cleaning. They pickup every week. My Husband I both work in a professional setting which requires us to do regualr dry cleaning. I liek the service. Its easy, doesn't cost anything more than your local dry cleaners and I think they may be better. Plus turn around time is better it seems liked you always have to bargain with a walk in cleaners with regard to getting your cloths back.

If one examines these reviews the pattern emerges where a product (e.g. wedding dresses), or a service (e.g. pick up and delivery!) is melded perfectly with a location. That is, what honest reviewer says “Busy Bee ON FOSTER”. Totally unbelievable, and truly diminishes the validity of this site. Pros: good at writing reviews Cons: dishonest customer feedback

BusyBee cleaners has a friendly staff that help problems. I had a stain on my dress they were able to get out, while other cleaners could not. Their prices are extremely reasonable while their quality is second to none. I am new to Portland and they were able to do a lot of items besides the basic shirt. They preserved my wife's wedding dress in an awesome gold display case, cleaned my king sized down comforter when my cat peed all over it, and they even cleaned my pleated drapes. They can do same day service, which most other cleaners in the area do not offer. I would recommend this cleaners to anyone in the area! Pros: Open Saturday, Friendly, Fluent English Cons: Closed Sunday

My husband and I just got married a couple of weeks ago and I needed to get my wedding dressed cleaned and preserved. The place where I bought the dress recommended Busybee Dry Cleaners on Foster. They were great to work with and had my dress back very quickly. Compared to other cleaners in Portland the price I paid was $50.00 less and I was able to pick out the color of box I wanted. Very happy customer, painless service.
