This is not actually a thrift store, nor does it have thrift store prices but the vintage furniture is in great shape and still a lot cheaper than it would be new. They also tend to carry a lot of unusual items, so if you really want to create a unique home environment for less money this could be a good spot to add to your list. Like any used furniture store you never quite know what might be there. more

Fun, quirky antique shop 6/28/2005

1874 House is a great antique shop if you're restoring an older home or looking for unique, quirky fixtures and elements for your newer home. It's a bit of a mess when you walk in, but if you're patient, you can find really interesting architectural items like copper light fixtures, brass trim, old door knockers and knobs, stained glass, as well as furniture and other random objects. more
