The couches are plentiful and comfy, there's chess tables and board games near the front, and endless nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away in with a book or friend and a cup of java. Coffee Time has the coziest atmosphere in Portland, hands down. There's seating outside, although it can be hidden by the cloud of clove smoke. This is NW, so the crowd is very very emo/hipster with the occasional yuppie. All around wonderful.

The couches are plentiful and comfy, there's chess tables and board games near the front, and endless nooks and crannies to tuck yourself away in with a book or friend and a cup of java. Coffee Time has the coziest atmosphere in Portland, hands down. There's seating outside, although it can be hidden by the cloud of clove smoke. This is NW, so the crowd is very very emo/hipster with the occasional yuppie. All around wonderful.

This is another great coffee shop. Not as great as stumptown but open much later. I remember the good old days when this shop was open 24 hours a day, sadly not anymore. But they are still open...

This is another great coffee shop. Not as great as stumptown but open much later. I remember the good old days when this shop was open 24 hours a day, sadly not anymore. But they are still open till 2 or 3 in the morning. I also love the lay out of this place. There is a lot of good stops to sit and chat or play a game.
