I feel so happy when I enter this shop. The people are genuine, have awesome flowers, and always make me happy. They have truly the most unique arrangements, and I always fine some cool flowers I have to take home with me! I will have to agree, their flowers are higher priced than the grocery store, but you get what you pay for. And in this case, you get attention, help, and amazing quality flowers! Well worth every penny!

I am the first to say that sometimes you get what you pay for, but there is no logical reason for the prices at this nursery, they are outrageous. It is not that the nursery isn't nice, but unless you are loaded with money there are plenty of choices nearby, sorry First Light but triple the normal price?

I went in here once to get a quick, last-minute gift and I was able to get wonderful help, without having to pay through the nose. Everybody was very friendly and worked fast for me. They have a lot of beautiful decorative stuff that isn’t fresh floral, too, such as candles and glassware.

When you want a floral gift that is more than a bouquet, this is the place to go. The orchids are gorgeous. The store itself is more like an art studio with its studio like lighting and simple design. There are other potted plants available as well as a good selection of pots. Don't expect a lot of gift items here. This is definitely a specialty store.

More exotics than an ordinary flower stand, and better prices: you can get the most gorgeous roses here for $1.75 a stem. The selection here is absolutely beautiful, and I can hardly resist walking past their sidewalk full of flowers without buying a small gift for a loved one.
Furthermore, inside they have some very compelling cards and gifts from local artisans.
The word I'd say defines this business is "unique". You'll find flowers and gifts here that you won't find in a standard flower-and-gift shop. The shop has a lot of style and taste, yet no pretension -- and something for everyone.
