3 indoor pools 6/30/2011

The 3 indoor pools with one that is really warm for us wussies who hate to be cold, the classes (spinning and pilates) are generally very good and the rock wall and the gym are quite nice. more

7 indoor courts, 4 new 5/11/2011

I joined for the tennis. They have 7 indoor courts, 4 new and 3 older ones. The courts are in decent shape. They do have organized events, like men's morning or group lessons or mixed doubles nights, etc. more

very family oriented place 5/5/2011

My family has been a member of SAC for 15 years. Over that time period we have been impressed with the interest of the managment to expand offerings to appeal to the club membership. This is a very family oriented place with options to appeal to all ages. I love seeing gray haired women playing tennis with teenagers and all ages enjoying the fabulous pools and all ages and genders doing Zumba with Kristen or the many work out classes. The pools are the true gem here-- clean, inviting, indoor with no chlorine and the outdoor play area in the summer for kids cannot be beat. The party room for events is superb, I had my retirement party there and it was perfect-- Jennifer provides excellent service to make your event be just as you hoped. more

I participate in exercise classes and feel comfortable 5/3/2011

I participate in exercise classes and feel comfortable with the older ladies in 20/20/20 and with the super fit ladies in some of the other classes. No matter what class I take, I can work at my fitness level and not feel out of place. I really enjoyed the wide ranges of ages and abilities. more

there is something for everyone 4/27/2011

I am currently reading a book about aging and how segregating older people feel in this community. I would definitely say that SAC is not one of those places. I love that there is something for everyone and we all pursue it together. more

Our boys are free to enjoy themselves 4/25/2011

Our boys are free to enjoy themselves without worrying about breaking a lot of rules. They benefit from all the different exercise and social options. I feel like we are working together to raise kids who will value fitness for their whole life. more

diverse and enjoyable membership base 4/20/2011

The Pools are amazing, they have indoor salt-water pools that are much more enjoyable than chlorine pools. They have a bevy of classes available for all types of interests and there is a diverse and enjoyable membership base where you meet good people. It has a very neighborhood feeling to it, and is very unpretentious. more

The staff, including the trainers and instructors are so nice! Their amenities are very new and clean and pretty and nice and varied and coooool. You will have access to salt-filtered swimming pools, basketball, rock climbing, racquetball, tennis, weights, classes, aerobic machines, etc., etc., etc! more

such a great athletic club 4/12/2011

Thank you for your efforts in administering such a great athletic club. We have been members for 6 or 7 years. My husband had a heart attach and appreciates the whole atmosphere since he spends so much time at the club. The staff is friendly and upbeat, which creates a really fun community for him. more

Excellent 3/24/2011

the rock wall is an EXCELLENT place for beginners. They have a very bouldering cave and the rope routes have auto-belays, so you clip in and go, without having another person hold your ropes. They also have an after school climbing group for middle-schoolers and maybe grade-schoolers too! NOTE for you parents, don't just drop your kids off, you have to sign a waiver for those lil uns (i.e. under 18). more

Amazing value 3/23/2011

This is my local Gym that I live walking distance from my house. My family has been members off and on for over 15 years, and my wife and I are now members. It is an amazing value for a full service club. You can get a whole year at 10% off, and there is always machines available. more

Loved the walking group! 3/22/2011

My first love in the Portland area, I joined this club three years ago when i first moved her for the walking group...It was the best thing I did. They walked three times a week and I met all my girls there. Wonderful group of women can't be beat when your new in town. more
