Jim Dandy's is the epitomy of what old-time diners used to be...big plates, American food, truck drivers, and wait staff that will take the time to chat with you and remember your name. One of the better mid-county restaurants this place is often forgotten on the drag of Elmer's and the like...but their eggs are always done just right...and the hashbrowns are aplenty! (It's not calories unless you can see the plate around the food..right???) While the food isn't unusual or "gourmet"..this place is the one to go to when you wake up with that Saturday morning hang-over and need a big glass of orange juice and folks to help you remember what you did last night. Oh, one more thing...the atmosphere here is AMAZING and BODACIOUS! An old drive in, Jim Dandy's is decorated in comics, pink caddys, and everything cartoonish...great game room too for the kids and poker for the grownups.
