King of the Roll has the best sushi I've ever had. I don't eat sushi a lot, but I've had some outrageously expensive meals in NYC that did not compare to King of the Roll. I hear Portland's sushi scene is fantastic, and the other sushi places in town might be even better than this place, but I haven't tried any yet. The first time I saw this place I took a friend there for her birthday, because we were wandering Congress St. looking for a good place to eat and it had a sign saying "Best Sushi In The World!" or something. I was not disappointed. Definitely try the seaweed salad too, but the sea urchin ain't too yummy in my opinion.
