Victor's is a great place to go for tires. Not only does he have reasonably priced tires, but the friendliest folks work at Victors! They are great about repairing tires also and the prices are reasonable! Victor's also sells used tires. You just don't see too much of that any more. I think it is fantastic! Especially for young folks who may not be able to afford new tires, but buying used ones will still make their cars safer and not cost them an arm and a leg! This is a five star Shop!

Skinner's is truly a great western wear store. They can outfit you with the latest boots, jeans, shirts, hats, and chaps. This store has friendly service folks and some great deals. Some of their merchandise is a bit pricey but their sales are fantastic!

Oh my, talk about a little restaurant with big taste, great service, and a wonderful atmosphere. That would be the China Station. And can they do up a special party! We had a birthday party here and the food was fantastic, the service superb, and the atmosphere was wonderful! They are right on Main Street in Portales with great parking, and the best food in Portales! This is a must go to place for a truly great dining experience!

Woody's is a very nice little jewelry store. He has beautiful pieces, but that is not why we use this store. Woody's will fix your glasses! They also clean your jewelry and repair it. I can't afford new right now, but they are so friendly and knowledgeable about what they do, and I trust them with my jewelry. That is the biggest compliment I can give to a jeweler! I recommend Woody's not only for buying a special piece of jewelry, but also for the cleaning and repair of jewelry at a reasonable price.

My daughter and son-in-law were finally able to look at purchasing some furniture. I spent many hours looking at furniture at different stores with my daughter. We kept going back to Ashley Furniture. The kids were able to purchase a new sofa and chair that were quality pieces at a great price. This is a great place to go for furniture and the sales make the trip worthwhile!

McCarty's Cafe is a quaint little cafe that serves great food for breakfast and lunch! Their fare is varied and wholesome. McCarty's has good service, a clean eating area, and reasonable prices. This is a great place to go that is not out of the way and not so crowded you cannot get served! I give them four stars and will be going back!

Hestands has some great gifts. This is a store that sells flowers, potted plants and gifts. I like to come here for their potted plants. When my daughter had her baby, I went to Hestands to get her a potted plant in a cute pot. This plant is still alive and reminds her of a special time in her life when a miracle was born! I recommend Hestands for their potted plants and reasonable prices.
