Both of my children have taken swimming lessons at Pace University over the last few years. The quality of the swim lessons is first rate. Class sizes are small, and the teaching staff is always very patient and kind to the children. The director of the program, however, is a bit overzealous and rigid. She has many rules and regulations, which make perfect sense, but she sometimes fails to remember that flexibility is needed when dealing with children. Because of this, the environment is sometimes a bit unpleasant. Overall, however, they offer the best swimming lessons in the area, so it is worth putting up with some of the unpleasantness.
