Not a very good choice. Although staff was pleasent, the cheesteaks were not what we expected. Small portions, not very tender and a little greasy. Somewhat overpriced.

Pritz and Gray have been in Pleasantville, on the Black Horse Pike for several years. It is easy to get an appointment and the staff is pleasant. They do press you to buy glasses there, but don't get too upset if you don't.

I usually book the Hampton Inn Bayside once a year when we travel to Atlantic City for various events. While it is sometimes easier to stay directly in AC, the Hampton Inn Bayside provides an affordable solution should the rates in the in-town hotels be outrageous. Our last stay was in November.
If you've ever stayed at a Hampton Inn in the past, you will know what to expect from this hotel. The rooms are always clean when we go, and the staff is usually polite and helpful. You don't get the room service amentity as you would at most in-town hotels, but there are a handful of places that will deliver to the room.
Behind the hotel is a nice little area with a deck, some sand, and the water.
Be advised, however, that when checking in, you will need to pay for your stay right there. I book all of my Hampton Inn stays through HHonors, and most require a credit card, but do not charge it unless you do not show up, cancel late, etc. I like to pay for my stays at the end of the trip, in cash. So if you're like me when it comes to paying, then be aware that you will need to either have the stay put on your credit card, or you will need to pay cash while you are checking in.
Overall, I recommend this hotel to anyone who will be in Atlantic City for any kind of event (trade show, concert, etc), and who is looking for affordable accommodations. It is only a short drive from the Hampton Inn Bayside to the Convention Center.

Historic Smithville is another nice thing to do at the shore when you are there on vacation. Historic Smithville has lots of little what not shops to poke around in and while away the time. Don't miss the bakery for good treats. They also have a nice restaurant right on the premises. There is a large lake and ducks (of course!)

I was in a car accident and the nearest place with towing service was Guenther's. (Police Suggestion) This place is so unprofessional. They smoke in their office that is 5ft from where they work on cars! I left something in my car and needed to go get it so I go over there. I waiting about a minute before they even noticed I was there. This old lady gave me such a hard time. I don't know if it was the color of my skin, my age or she was having a bad day. She says I need a release form, just to get something out of my own car. So I say whatever and go get one from the police station. I asked the lady there and she said I don't need one to get something out of my car and she'll call over there. I go back to Guenther's and the same lady says I need to show her my license and insurance. I told her that the lady at the police station says I don' t need any of that to take something out of my car. The lady says she just wants to make sure that I don't leave my car there. " Are you serious my car is a 2007. I wouldn't leave my car in a junkie place like that." All I wanted was something out of my car and she was making it so difficult. I'm telling you the next step would have been a police escort. Anyway after a few minutes of that someone else jumps in and tells her to just let me into to my car. In her face. They seriously need to work on their customer service. Business Bureau is going to here about this.
