This is a new place located in a small strip mall next door to Back 40s BBQ. It is owned and operated by Daniel, formerly the front-end manager at Luna, Walnut Creek. The concept here is small plates. Here, they feature a cuisine of the month and they offer it in small portions so you can order a number of them to sample various foods instead only one large entree item. You can start out with just a few and order more if desired. The wine list is huge and really covers a lot of ground. Daniel knows more about Italian wines than anyone I ever met. The food is outstanding and the prices are moderate. It's a small place so call and make reservations. They do lunch and dinner. They have a web site so you can check to see what cuisine they are offering for this month. Va Da Vi, Walnut Creek has made a huge success in this type of serving. Nibbler's is not as beautiful inside nor quite as sophisticated but it is still an excellent way to try this kind of dining. Jim Q
