The prices are rather high, but Central Market is a huge store with everything a gourmet chef could want. The produce section is the first thing you see when you walk into the store. Central Market offers a wide selection of locally-grown produce, organic produce, and exotic produce. Freshly squeezed juices and precut/pre-washed vegetables are also available. Next you'll make your way through the meat and seafood area which again offer a large variety not found elsewhere. There are always several types of freshly ground sausages made at the store and, again, locally-produced (or least from this state) and organic varieties of meat and seafood are emphasized. There is wild game here, too - I've even seen rattlesnake meat here. Next, there is a sushi counter followed by the beer and wine area. Wines and beers are organized by country/region of origin. The health and beauty section offers a wide range of vitamins and supplements and natural skincare and hair care products. Then there is a section of the store with canned and dry goods which also offers some ethnic foods (as do all areas of the store). The bulk foods section, especially the spices, can be surprisingly cheap. I've found I can often get enough of a spice to refill the whole jar for less than a dollar. The frozen foods section has many organic and ethnic options. The bakery and cheese sections. I have tried the fresh-baked breads, tortillas, and breakfast pastries which have all been good. I've also ordered a couple of birthday cakes here - there are some delicious decadent dark chocolate cakes. Central Market offers cheeses from around the world, including goat's and sheep's milk cheeses. Next is the deli/prepared foods area. There is a salsa bar, a gelateria, a sandwich counter, a refrigerated section with sandwiches, salads, and pizzas, as well as the main deli counter which features a large selection of hot and cold foods. You can get everything from steak to potato salad here. Finally, the employees are very knowledgeable and happy to help.

Our first time to go to Covino's and we'll be going back again and again!
We had the Joe's special Pizza as an appetizer - all the ingredients were fresh and the crust was great! The meatballs on the pizza were so good. I bet that would be an excellent pizza topping for next time.
I can't wait to try the calamari next time. It looked awesome.
BYOB - can't beat that.
Also had Chicken Picatta that was fresh and a large portion. The lasagna was also excellent. They have a rosemary complementary bread that was to die for!
We can't wait to make this our regular and introduce our friends.

We arrived to find a long line out the door and down the sidewalk. As we decided not to wait, another customer told us the line goes real fast. And, it did. We were at our table within 10 minutes; what a surprise. It turned out to be one of the best kept secrets in the Northeast area of the Metroplex. Our food was wonderful, the servers and other front of the house staff were very friendly and best of all, everyone who works there is a happy person. After a few minutes, we felt like we had just come home to all of our friends. It was like finding a pot-of-gold at the end of the rainbow.
Pros: Friendly, fun, fast and great food and service
Cons: No Cons

We have been going to this restaurant since it opened. One of the owners is one of the original people who helped Ruth Chris open/run her steakhouse in Louisiana. He & his partners know how to create a wonderful restaurant - great atmosphere, wonderful & different recipes, and attentive staff. We love their Lean Bodies menu, which they worked with Dr. Cliff Sheats to create. Also, when we aren't following the Lean Bodies regimen, we really enjoy the hummus appetizer, corn grits, and the various cobblers (especially black berry).

Low-lit, old-fashioned steakhouse in Plano with a contemporary-ish decor. They have a la carte portions, except with some entrees/specials (I recommend the salmon, if they have it on the specials’ menu). All together this place is a bit pricey, but the service is also very good. The servers are not overly pushy and they don’t rush you through your meal.

Abuelo's on Parker and 75 has an awesome new happy hour. $3 Margaritas, $3 Swirls, $2 all draft beers and $2 house wines and Sangrias. Wow when did all of these specials start? I have dined and enjoyed many family dinners at this location in Plano Texas. Abuelo's is one of the few Mexican Restaurants that have still continuously prepared Outstanding food. I just wanted to comment on the unbelievable Happy Hour prices and specials. Monday thru Friday 3PM - 7PM is New for this location and I will definately Pop in and have a few beers after work.
Pros: New Happy Hour Specials and Appetizers

There is a little bit for everyone all year round. Christmas is my favorite time of year there. They have everything from decorations to Christmas trees at very reasonable prices.
I really like the fact that they are open on Sunday and that there is a mini mall there with a little Antique store that you never know what you will find there.
Great place to take the whole family, my kids love it. It is a little bit unorganized but with the prices its worth it.

Awaji is a great place for good sushi. They have all kinds of rolls and will make custom orders if you like. They have sashimi, rolls and nigiri. The salmon is always excellent. The ginger salad is great, and the miso soup is a perfect appetizer.
Family friendly. You can sit at the bar or a cozy table. There's a room for private parties too. If you love sushi, it's perfect for a quick bite or a nice date.
