Fun, social atmosphere. Live music really adds to the environment, and you can get a special spot on the wall if you order a certain amount of different kinds of brews (which you get signed off on!). It's definitely fun collecting them all.
I love the outfits and unique feel of this place.
The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is because it's a bit pricey and the food quantities are small.
Pros: Tasty snacks, good beer, fun environment
Cons: quantities of food are small for the price

I went for all the soccer games and continue to go on a regular basis. I have been for anniversaries, birthdays, and even engagement parties and always had a total blast! Every time I take a friend on a weekend (when they have authentic accordion players) they have the best time! However, you have to be willing to embrace the German atmosphere. I studied abroad in Germany and this place is just like it is there!!! Great food and beer; you can?t go wrong. I recommend the Wiener Art Sntizel. Everyone is so nice and owner is always there to greet you and make sure things are great! I LOVE THIS PLACE!
Pros: Amazing food and ambience. True German style!
Cons: Sometimes it gets too crowded and slow service-resolve with more beer!

Have heard about them for years and always wanted to go. We went to Plano balloon festival and decided it was the perfect time to try it out. Service and atmosphere were nice, food was YUK...and I'm being polite. I had the 5 sausage plate with potato salad and saurkraut. Only 2 types of sausage were edible (veal sausage disgusting), have had better saurkraut from a can. Wife had a schnitzle (how ever you spell it) with a pasta, schnitzle was tasteless could have been breaded anything. A lot of nerve calling that pile of shredded dough pasta. Table bread served room temp. and right out of a bag. WAY OVERPRICED, NOTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE COULD BE CONSIDERED QUALITY DINING.
Pros: service, atmosphere
Cons: FOOD, PRICE

We had dined at a German restaurant in Muenster, TX (North of Dallas, West of Gainsville) some time ago and bemoaned the fact we had nowhere comparable in our area in Dallas. Then, we stumbled upon Bavarian Grill. The service was exemplary; our friendly male server suggested just the right brew after I told him the typical beer I would order. It was a perfect match ! We both had the Schnitzel "Wiener Art" which was excellent and enough for a large to-go box. Our only regret ? We should have each ordered something different so we could sample two items on the menu. Our entree was accompanied by their delicious warm potato salad and sweet & sour red cabbage. Very generous portions. Atmosphere is delightful, love the little train running around the room. I bet it's fun during Spring and Fall sitting in the beer garden !!! Can't wait for another trip back to Plano to enjoy this special find!!!
Pros: Food, Ambience, Service
Cons: Wish it were a little closer to home (FB/Addison)

The German food is as close as I have found here in Dallas. It is a festive environment and gathering spot for local Germans. I will go back again soon.

Excellent Bavarian food. At first I was a bit leary when I saw that it is located in a strip mall. Wow was I mistaken!!! The food is very authentic and taste like anything you would get in Munchen. I eat there quite often and have yet to be disappointed. Try the shwein hauxe. It's to die for!

We had some friend come in town who just love German Food and Sausage. What better place to take them than to this place. The restaurant has a fun Germanic atmosphere and an authentic menu. I on my second trip ordered the Roasted chicken and when it was placed before me I had to take a picture because it was so beautiful. I then tried it and have to say it was the best I have had thus far. I originally wanted the goulash but the waiter told me it was not up to pare that day. Our friends who love sausage were not disappointed when they ordered the 6 sausage platter. I highly recommend visiting if you love German food and everything German. You will not be disappointed at all.
Pros: Delicious German cuisine
Cons: Not getting there early enough to sit in the beer garden

This restaurant is fun! It's very casual, spacious and the service is excellent. I tried a few entrees and my favorite was the chicken schnitzel. It is made to perfection! However, the absolute best part of my visit was the Prinz Regenten Torte, Munich Royal Regents Cake. I almost didn't order it because of the hefty price of $10. Ohhhhh..but I'm so glad that I did, it was one of the most delicious desserts that I have ever tried and I am picky picky picky. The chef uses actual chocolate from Germany to create this piece of heaven. It is layers of sponge cake divided by chocolate cream and covered with a delicious layer of swiss chocolate. It just melts in your mouth. P.S. - the entertainment can be a bit cheesy. the good news is you can sit in another room :)
Pros: great food, great service
Cons: cheeseball entertainment

The food is amazing and there's so much of it! There's also live music every night that's kid-friendly. Dancing, great beer, and good service, what more could you want?
Pros: Great Beer, Kid Friendly, Great Service
