I was recommended by a co-worker to try Allison's, although for a couple of years I've used another smaller mechanic in Plano. However, after my experience with Allison's, I will be switching to them. Randy was extremely kind and knowledgeable, and it is of utmost importance to me that an auto shop has integrity, which I believe this facility offers based on my experience. He seemed very honest and trustworthy, which put my mind at ease . Will definitely be coming back! more

Inspected my motorhome and went through all the fluids and checks and adjusted air pressure in all 6 tires then changed the oil filter and re-topped it. Also priced an oil change for one of my cars using the Dexos type oil and the price was the best I've found. more

The people at Allison's Autocare could not have been more helpful and friendly. I called ahead and they let me know that they were extra busy, so I called later in the day; they were totally accommodating and told me to come ahead. I arrived early and the atmosphere in the waiting room was really pleasant. Everyone was working hard but seemed to be happy to do it. They have serviced my vehicle for 10 years and I have 334000 miles on it, that says something about their dedication to taking care of the customer! more

Allison's Auto Care was recommended by a friend who's had a local business in Plano for decades. He's been taking his car to Allison's (also has been in the Plano area for decades) for a long time now. I took my parent's old 2000 Mercedes CLK for a different issue on every visit and they resolved each issue in a timely manner and a lot less expensive than what the Mercedes dealership would charge. They are very thorough and accurate with finding the issues and fixing them. They know what they are doing. I highly recommend them. more

Took my car to Christian Brothers in Murphy, they said $1500 or scrap the car. Allison's=$179 and done within hours. more

There was colorless, slightly oily fluid leaking from the front of my 2005 Dodge Grand Caravan, staining the pavement of my parking spots for two days. I left the van at Allison's, 8 pm Wednesday, dropping my key through the after-hours drop box slot. Noon the next day, Scott called to tell me my radiator needed replacement. He also recommended new tubing for the new radiator and we had a chat about possibly replacing the thermostat, eventually deciding against it. The van would be ready at the end of that day or the next morning. I didn't hear from Scott until 2 pm the next day and was told his mechanic was out with the Flu and that he was the one actually doing the repair! The van was ready for pick up 5 pm that day. The van drives well after the repair, however the prior to the radiator replacement the van was driving really well to begin with, it was just the leaking fluid that was the issue. Their no longer is any leaking fluid from underneath the van. Overall, It's my opinion these guys perform quality work that one would assume only happens at a dealership. However the higher overhead costs accompanying a repair bill from the dealership are avoided at Allison's, where the same level of work is performed at about a 25% cost discount, from my experience. I actually found them from a Car Talk registry of good mechanics. They're no longer listed though, not sure why. So far from Allison's I've only experienced work and service Click and Clack the Tappet brothers would approve of. Go get your car fixed. more

Allison's Auto Care is the absolute best in care and customer service that you'll find in the Plano area. They always take care of me and never recommend that I service items that aren't needed. I am a single female and often when I have taken my car to other places, they have told me that my car needs thousands of dollars of work. Every time that has happened, I take it directly to Allison's to have them check and not once have I actually needed the service that the other place deemed "critical". Like I said, they always take great care of me. They care about the customer and by doing so, they can always count on my return service and praise. more
