As others have mentioned, the owner of this place is an absolute delight...he always makes sure you have a pleasant dining experience on every visit. The food is good & the best thing about this place is that there's almost never a wait to get served. It's definitely a great Indian food dining option in Plainsboro!

Since everyone has touched on much of what I could mention in this review, let me highlight my favorite part of this restaurant: THE SAMOSAS!
These are the best samosas ever! The perfect mix of spicy and savory, these samosas are cheap and really help the day keep rolling. Plus, they're cheap! Nothing at this restaurant will make you bankrupt - it's all designed with price and quality in mind.
And when I say that their other foods mirror the greatness of their samosas, believe me! 100% satisfaction every time I order!

I'm in this club at the college and we get our buffet foods catered by them. Since we built a stable relationship with them, they are very generous to our club. Their food is delicious and I recommend going to this restaurant. It's hard to find but totally worth getting lost for. The atmosphere is calming and the service is great.

Every year my college hosts a multicultural buffet. They order chinese, japanese, korean, filipino and indian food. We get the indian food from crown of india. As the co-ordinator for this event, I went to crown of India to see the actually restaurant. As soon as you open the door, the smell of curry seeps out . At that moment, you know its going to be good. I introduced myself to the owner and he was extremely friendly. He is willing to bargain over food prices and that is extremely helpful.
As for the actual food itself, it is delicious. It is really authentic indian. The naan is competitvely priced and the allu chaat is amazing; so is the tandoori chicken that we order every year.
Pros: delicous food, fair price, friendly owner
cons: smell of restaurant (if you don't want to smell like curry)
