Good: Generous portions, tastes like the ingredients are really fresh, they have great salads. The restaurant itself is beautiful, it looks like they preserved the original facade and the interior is warm and inviting.. Bad: Sometimes the brunch/lunch waitresses can be a bit curt, but usually only when it's really busy or they're understaffed. Overall I think it is well worth it, there aren't too many quality options in the village of Pittsford.. Other: There is a cute gift shop in the rear of the restaurant which is worth a look, and on some days they have afternoon tea (something I haven't tried, but it looks quite nice)..

In my opinion, this is an over-rated, overpriced diner. It seems to be a Pittsford institution, but I don't find there is a friendly atmosphere that most diners have. Surroundings are pleasant and I can't fault the food, but it is higher than other diners. If you want a brreakfast or lunch and you're in the middle of Pittsford, it would be a okay choice.
