I've been to Aladdin's many times over the years and never had a bad experience. The food is always delicious (admittedly I order the same thing every single time, since I love it so much [the vegetarian sampler platter]), the prices are a bargain for the portion sizes, the service is efficient, they have an incredible selection of sinfully-rich desserts, and their canalside location is the ultimate treat.
Pros: Delicious food, bargain prices, wonderful canalside setting
Cons: Parking at Schoen Place is very difficult during "peak" times

This restaurant is packed at night, especially on the weekends, when you need to arrive at 5:30 at the latest to get a table.
The sushi is high quality, made with excellent fish that is fresh and tasty.
The true highlight is the hibachi experience. Normally, these food experiences are all show and very poor quality food. Plum Garden is not the usual hibachi experience. The shrimp and steak were delicious and there is no skimping on poor cuts of meat at this restaurant. Enough food for dinner the next night is left over. You get a salad, soup, shrimp appetizer, fried rice and main dish (chicken, steak) with the hibachi meal.
The cons are that at the hibachi, you are sitting with strangers and if they have kids, that can be really annoying if, like me, you are not into kids.

the Pittsford Pub is a fun place to go - the food is actually very good -pricing not too bad either. Much better than the stuck up place next door (JoJo's). I like the Pub - it's very comfortable.
Pros: comfortable - good value
Cons: sometimes a little busy

Good: Generous portions, tastes like the ingredients are really fresh, they have great salads. The restaurant itself is beautiful, it looks like they preserved the original facade and the interior is warm and inviting.. Bad: Sometimes the brunch/lunch waitresses can be a bit curt, but usually only when it's really busy or they're understaffed. Overall I think it is well worth it, there aren't too many quality options in the village of Pittsford.. Other: There is a cute gift shop in the rear of the restaurant which is worth a look, and on some days they have afternoon tea (something I haven't tried, but it looks quite nice)..

Simply Crepes is a wonderful place to get any kind of crepe you can think of and then some.
The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere. It feels like you're in a very fancy dining room in someone's house!
The service there is good although it can be slow at times.
I recommend that you don't leave there until you've tried the nutella crepe with bananas!
