Good Selection, Better than Blockbuster 11/14/2005

Great place to go if you don't have Netflix or Blockbuster Online and you want some B or C movies. They still have some titles in VHS which can't be found in DVD format anywhere (even online). Nice staff, reasonable prices and convenient hours and location make for an overall nice store that I will definetly visit again. more

quality video store in shadyside 8/21/2005

Classic Video, now re-located from Oakland to Shadyside, is another of Pittsburgh's great neighborhood video stores. Cathy, the proprietor, cares about movies and it shows in the store's selection and design. Their selection of anime, art house, independent, and foreign films is great. If you can't quite think of the name of a movie but you know something about it, odds are someone behind the counter will puzzle over it with you (maybe even an IMDB search). more

Great collection of videos 8/16/2005

When Blockbuster doesn't have the title you're looking for C Video just might. The range of videos available is incredible. The foreign film collect is large though mostly still on VHS. Other movies might be difficult to find, so if you want a specific title, its easier to just ask at the counter. The staff knows a lot about movies! The yearly membership fee is $15 and includes four rentals. Sometimes the store closes a few minutes early. more
