For my 21st Birthday I made a reservation for 25 people and everythings was fine. The owner sent me a Menu option for my size party and I didn't want to have to choose for eveyone and have a locked in minnimum price of $17.00 for a two different types of pasta. So the owner had me call the next day to talk to the head waiter. I asked him if I could just order off the regular menu and he stated that "the food would not all come out at the same time" and that "he did not know of too many resturants that could serve 25 people at once". He also asked if it was one check and I told him it was not and he said that was not what they did for parties and that it must be one check. He kept telling me about how that was a head ache for him and for me. This guy was just concerned about hiself. Then he proceeded to tell me that he didn't want to put more than one waiter at the table because they would have to split the gratuity. I felt that he did not want my business so I made reservations else where and cancelled the reservation. The owner called me the next day and asked why and I told him briefly what the head waiter and I talked about he said he was sorry I chose to go some where else and that they would have done whatever to keep our reservation. Five minutes later the head waiter calls me from his cell phone and harasses me about what was said to his boss. This place is crazy. He even asked where I was going that they could accomadate us. Omg this guy was probaly gonna stalk me!

IT SUCKED!!!I ate there with my GF on Friday. I had the alfredo and wedding soup.Two staples of an Italian Restorante. The Alfredo was a mass of thick,starchy pasta.The sauce a floury thin flavorless yuk!!!The wedding soup had a bland tasteless broth and big hard meatballs.The gnats flying around the table were a constant nuisance.The men's room reeked of days of unmopped urine spills.Don't waste your time or money!!!!

On a good note, the garlic bread appetizer was excellent. When I called for the reservation, the young lady I spoke to was very rushed and somewhat rude, cutting me off in mid-sentence on several occasions. The atmosphere inside the restaurant (we were on the second floor) was dreary. The meals were very bland. Lasagna was on special, but was very flat and tasteless. I had the penne with Italian sausage, which also was fairly tasteless. The sausage had a kind a strange taste to it - like it was old or something. My friend had a sausage calzone, which was HUGE. Service was below average - the waiter never asked if we wanted a second glass of wine and forgot to bring crushed red peppers, which we asked for when we placed our order.

I have been invited to this restaurant a few times by friends. The services does not seem to be that at all and was good every time. The prices of the food is high and I don't think that the quality is there. On one occasion we had a chance to speak to the owner he actually delivered our entrées one the time. He was nice and pleasant. Still I won't go if given the choice because there is way better places.

I went to this restaurant on the south side to start my night of drinking. The bar was a great place to sit down and relax. The food was great. I ordered an Italian veal hamburger and it came with pasta on the side. My one friend also got a Caesar salad and their comment was that was the best Caesar salad they have ever eaten. The burger I got was to my liking; it was pink in the middle and covered in all sorts of toppings. The beer was only 2 dollars during their special. I would say this is a great restaurant to go to eat dinner and then start drinking.

My husband and I went here for dinner once and it was fabulous. Took my niece in August 2005 for her birthday and it was fabulous all over again. I had an italian sausage sandwich that I had to take 1/2 home. It came with a big side of pasta all for under $10. They have a coupon in the Entertainment Book so you can't go wrong checking it out. Even with no coupon it's a bargain for what you get. They start you off with bread and dipping oil. The oil is great - very flavorful. Located right on East Carson Street it's very easy to find. They have entertainment in the evenings.

The atmosphere was pretty shabby and the food didn't really make up for it. The service was great, the meals reasonable (especially with a BOGO coupon!). Still, I wouldn't go there again...
