If you're a musician in Pittsburgh, then you need to visit Voklwein's for their extensive selection of everything music. I am a pianist and vocalist who has a wide range of needs. I am able to find many editions of art music that will suit any picky musician. They also have a wide selection of 'just for fun' books such Broadway classics and jazz standards. As a church musician, they carry a line of classic, practical and appropriate songs. Also, if you're a teacher, there are many educational supplies!

Oh, how I miss you, Volkwein's Music! This store has the most expansive selection of sheet music, instruments for rental or purchase, instrument repair, gift ware, and lessons in the Pittsburgh area. Having used it for both piano and trumpet music, I can say that if Volkwein's doesn't carry it, no one will. I can't say much about the instrument lessons available, but I know plenty of satisfied customers. If you're a musician, you'll adore this store!

Volkwein's is the premier music store in the area. It offers method books, sheet music, the great composers, instrument repair, instrument purchase, private music instruction, workshops and a gift shop. You may order from them via phone, in person or online. They repair instruments right in the store. They have a separate area devoted entirely to workshops so as not to disturb other customers. They have a bulletin board featuring current job opportunities in the area. Truly a musician's dream.
