Harris theater is a single screen old-style theater. They specialize in older movies, either classics or cult-classics. Recently showing things like Godfather, Casablanca, and even Rocky Horror-- Harris Theater is one of the greatest things to do in Pittsburgh. I would heartily recommend it to any film buff, or someone just looking for a cheap, fun night at the theater (without the lines and crappy movies at Lowe's Ciniplex) more

downtown art house theater 8/21/2005

The Harris Theater downtown is a single screen theater showing independent, art, and foreign films. As part of Pittsburgh Filmmakers, they take part in the Three Rivers Film Festival (showing dozens of movies in the course of a week). The Harris and its eclectic selection are yet more great reasons to head into downtown Pittsburgh on a given evening. more
