Crappy Crap Crap 11/14/2005

The worst thing about this store is how much of a stereotype it is. The staff is stereotypical, and follows you around everywhere (even after you tell them you're not interested in being stalked while you shop). I would think that in a high-end store they would respect this, but I guess they assume you don't have the $ if you don't like being waited on hand and foot. The clothes are stereotypically terrible, and are embarassments of brands like armani and versace. They're the ugliest armani clothes I have ever seen. In short, stereotypical bad up-scale store. more

Wow! If you are looking for high end name brands (i.e. Armani, Versace, Dolce&Gabbana) then Moda is where you must shop. The sales staff is extremely friendly and responsive to your needs. From the minute you enter to the minute you exit, the sales staff will follow you around. It may feel intimidating, but remember you are in a designer store. more

Think Tracey Gold is a heffer? Moda is the perfect clothing store for you! Sass from the staff can be felt before you even walk in the door. With a selection of ultra tight, "fashionable" clothing, Moda can be pretentious. If you think Express for Men is too plain, run to Moda where the season's most flambyouant colors can be had -- but for a price. You will definitely not find these high-end designer clothes at traditional outlets or department stores, making Moda a unqiue clothing store in Pittsburgh. Hipster store in Shadyside. 8/16/2005

Moda carries lots of designer, hipster men's clothing. Carries some more fringe labels and more traditional like Paul Smith, Hugo boss, D&G. If you want expensive t-shirts like you'd find at Barney's and the like, this is the place for you. They have a small selections of suits but for the money they're not a good value. Sales staff is not great by any stretch of the imagination. more
