Good Produce 11/13/2005

Great selection of produce. Everything is fresh or it's not on the shelf. If they don't have a certain type of lettuce, it's because all of the fresh lettuce is gone (and they don't keep stuff out for days upon days). I shop here whenever I'm in the area for all kinds of produce. One of the only places to find fresh, good tomatoes during the winter months. Also great for some spices/herbs. more

Great Selection 8/19/2005

Stan's has a wide selection of fresh greens, organically grown veggies and fruits, potted plants, herbs and cut flowers. Most of the goods are farm-fresh goods. Baked goods and whole-grains are brought in from upstate Pennsylvania, and fresh dairy products come from Amish farms. Many specialty items can be found here as well such as fresh pheasant, wild boar, fingerling potatoes and fiddlehead ferns. more

Produce anyone 8/19/2005

This store has cheap produce. They have a wide variety. At times the have incredible prices on items by the case. Most of the produce is fine but occasionally you have to watch for over ripe or almost expired items. If you are shopping for same day use this is a great place. We always stop and end up with something. The good produce they have is good and at a great price. more
