Fearrington House is a part of the Relais and Chateaux line of Bed and Breakfasts and Restaurants.
We've been three times, and each time the meal has been delicious, meticulously presented, and a true pleasure to consume.
We even took our daughters for their first time out to a really nice restaurant last time, and they offered a lovely set of choices for the children, and the presentation of pasta was truly something to see!

We go to Fearington House about every other year and each time it is as exceptional as before. Our recent visit had everything: A unique menu with the food excellently prepared, beautiful setting inside and out and first class service.

This funky cafe has incredible food, exceptional live music, and tons of personality. If you looking for a cookie cutter eatery where you'll have no sense of place, then do not go to the general store cafe. However, if your interested in supporting live music, great food, and community, then give the cafe a shot. You'll keep going back for more! For all those that have complained about service, give the staff some time to get up to speed! The cafe recently doubled their seating and transitioned from counter service to table service. This community oriented venue in Pittsboro is quite a gem.

I have been in desperate need of a more reliable vehicle, something I could use to cart my growing family around. Some would say this would be an easy task, but with valuables in my vehicle I want to know that they will be safe. The guys at Pittsboro Chevrolet not only went over every vehicle in great detail, they were patient, courteous, and knowledgeble about the vehicles on their lot. I was so impressed by how down to earth everyone seemed, from my salesman, to the sales manager, even to the service manager, they really put the FUN back into buying a car!! Everyone was more than willing to make my buying experience perfect. So often people forget to spread to "good rumors" and I just wanted to say a great big THANK YOU, for making me feel like no question was too big or too small to ask. If you are ever in the market it is worth the drive for a WONDERFUL buying experience... Thanks again guys I will always buy from Pittsboro Chevrolet!!!

Went to this place out in Fearrington because I had read good things recently. I had been here last year and it sucked, but what a great turnaround! They really have fixed the problems they had in the beginning. The food was great and the service was smooth.
We will surely go back.
Pros: great service, people watching, and the oreo cows are great for kids to see.
Cons: none.

Allen & Sons has one of the best reputations in the area for good pork BBQ. They do live up to that standard. In addition to BBQ, they offer a range of burgers, chicken, and sandwiches to balance the menu. When you go, be aware that they only take cash - no credit cards and no checks!
When you drive up to the building, it looks as though it is take-out only, but if you go to the back, you'll find that inside is full service seating.
Give this one a try!

I highly recommend Hope Crossing Animal Hospital to all of my friends with pets. After some unhappy incidents at other local vets (who insisted they needed to muzzle my dog), I tried Dr. Webster out. He is always on time, always pleasant and professional, answers all of my questions without seeming annoyed.. and instead of trying to muzzle my dog, took the time to get to know him and let my dog warm up to him naturally. I've had several visits @ Hope Crossing now and my animals are never stressed or anxious and they don't run away from the building like it's full of the plague. It's absolutely vet care the way that it should be.
Pros: on time, quick, friendly, patient
Cons: absolutely NONE
