I have been to the Pikes on 3 seperate occasions and I am going back to have a surprise party for my best friend. I have never had a problem with the food, unless you call too much a problem. The fish and chips were huge, hot, crunchy and the fish was fresh and moist and delicious. I opted for a salad instead if the chips and was very surprised when a bowl the sixe of a football came out. Although I do not like a salad mix ( carrots and red cabbage) the salad was great all the same. My dinner companions each enjoyed thier meals and had some to take home, too. All in all, the service was wonderful, the coconut cake was enough for the 3 of us to share and the management could not have been more eager to help or more attentive. Pros: Great location, attmosphere fantastic if u like old Hollywood, huge booths, ladies room clean and well supplied Cons: not enough handicapped parking (4 spots)

Located in the old movie theater, the Pikes diner is a big step up from the other restaurants that have come in and out of the area. With a large menu selections, and quality service the Pikes is the ideal place for lunch, dinner, or even a late meal.

I just got back from eating lunch here. I waited awhile for my food, but didn't think too much of it. The food was good, but the waitress never came back to refill our drinks or anything. We asked for dessert (to go) and our check. We waited for 25 minutes, then we got up and finally had to get someone else to help us. They offered no apologies and no discounts on the food. We never did get our dessert and the waitress didn't get a tip. The food was good, but it isn't good enough to make up for the poor service and poor management. There are too many places out there willing to give good service in return for our money. This place doesn't deserve it. Pros: good food Cons: poor service, poor management
