I was introduced to this restaurant by a fellow librarian so my Husband and I thought would would check it out tonight.
You can't miss this place because of the color of it! (yellow building with the red awning). They have a parking lot out back but it fills up quick so they haver permission for their patrons to park in the lot for Rite Aide across the street.
The decor of this place reminds me of when we were on our honeymoon in the Mayan Rivera. Welcoming and warm clay style tile floors with bright colored walls and mexican art work.
Everybody starts off with a basket of multi-colored tortilla chips with a smokey salsa. We then shared a bowl of the Sopa de Tortilla con Pollo Chicken tortilla soup topped with cheese and fresh avocado ($5.00). This was the BEST tortilla soup I have ever had. Huge chunks of chicken, veggies and avocado. If you try it!
For my main entire I had the Chicken Chimichanga-hand-rolled and fried golden brown. Served with sour cream, guacamole, and pico de gallo ($9.00). This was perfect! The chicken was so juicy but it didn't make it soggy. The whole thing itself was not greasy at all. The rice and beans weren't over powering and had a great taste.
My Husband had the Carnitas Uruapan-Juicy chunks of pork slowly roasted for several hours and topped with onions and celantro; with warm tortillas. Served with sides of Mexican rice and frijoles al la charra. Guacamole, pico de gallo and sour cr????me on the side. ($14.00) I tired some of the pork and it was very juicy and had a great flavor.
They had a huge list of daily specials and desserts. They now have a liquor license so they do serve alcohol ( i guess this is new).
The food is VERY authentic and the BEST Mexican food I have had since being to Mexico!!!! Everyone one inside was family and makes you feel very welcome and at home in their house

So what if dinner for two costs $200.00, where else can you go and get treated like a star? I do however reccommend not going on Mothers Day, the service lacks on that particular day and as I said for $200.00 for 2, you should have your own best experience in the world.

One of our favorite lunch places is Suburban House in Pikesville. I always get the corned beef sandwich on rye,with swiss,mustard,and a huge kosher dill pickle. The best corned beef I've had since I was in New York,and theres enough to take off half and save for a sandwich later. Husband always gets the chili hot dogs,huge hot dog wrapped in bacon and smothered in chili,or 'heart attack on a bun' as I tell him. Great food,reasonable prices,and don't forget to park in the back.

Love going there with whomever since the food is tasty and even go there with my parents it's so good. Unlike most Chinese restaurants, which are trashy, this is one isn't and you want to go back to every week. Our family tends to stick to the lamb, lo mein, and string beans dish.

The Brasserie (& Deli) at Pomona Square is a great restaurant. The food is amazing, and although the prices could be cheaper, it's definitely worth it. My parents go there all the time and always tell me how much they love it. It is also in a really cool shopping center.

It was very tasty and the waitress must of had esp or something. Everytime our coffee cups were empty she was there to refill the cup...she was more like a coffee pusher...;) haven't tried any other meals yet but look forward to trying..

First of all, this review is for the one in Towson.
The Grilled Chicken wrapped around asparagus, green onion, and carrots is out of this world. One of the best meals I've ever had. Everything was good. The Santa Barbara Shrimp was also very nice. An exceptional sauce and everything is so fresh. The dumpling appetizers are also very, very tasty. I will definitally be back.
Pros: Freshest Food, Nice size servings, Good Sushi menu
