The Village Optical is a nice little prescription glasses store. I personally don’t wear glasses but I have been in the store to pick up a prescription for someone else. They also sell some expensive sunglasses and prescription sunglasses. The employees were well mannered and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a place to get their glasses fixed or a prescription filled.

Dr. Chris is both a very knowledgable and a very kind person. He named his business 'family chiropractic' for a good reason - he and his family (his lovely wife Wanda runs the office) take care of you and your family. I have been seeing Dr. Chris since about 6 months after my daughter was born. He takes time each visit to really see 'how you are.' I trust him implicitly and would recommend his practice to anyone! He has several very talented masseuses on staff to augment adjustments.

Dr. Piskai is a very talkative dentist, so you never need to guess what he is doing in your mouth. If anything, he is actually too talkative. But, you'll know what is happening at any moment. I went to him for years and was pleased with the care I received, and the availability of appointments.

I saw Dr. Gulibon after my original eye doctor was dropped from my insurance. He was kind but not as thorough as my previous doctor. Also the glasses I had made were terrible but that may be due to my crappy insurance that requires the glasses to be made off site. Next time I'll pay out of pocket for the better doctor and lens crafting.

I think most of us have become accustomed to dentists who are aloof at best, and mostly just condescending. There is none of that at Liberty Dental - the dentists are professionals and work with the patients to determine the best treatment plan without preaching about the evils of an occasional piece of chocolate. Their prices are fairly typical for dental work. The hours for general work are pretty accomodating, but if you need specialized work, some creative scheduling can be required (nothing unreasonable however). An excellent practice and I have recommended them to several family members!

Gateway is great competition for those pharmacy chains tat sell it all. Gateway sells it all and better than they do. Gateway is a huge place in the center of town that always has a good selection of gifts as well as all the drugstore necessities. Buy from them and support local business.
