There is a great selection of stores to shop at the Outlet At Anthem. They have all kinds of name brand stores for children and adult clothing, shoes, household items, and more. They have a pretty good food court center in the middle. They also have a play area for children with a playground. It is all outdoors which is nice when the weather permits. In the summer they have a mister system that helps with the heat as you walk from shop to shop. The stores are outlets and at some stores you can really save some money...that is not the case at all of them though. I have been to several stores and bought something and then been to the mall a few days later at the same store but not an outlet and they have had the exact same item for the same price! One time I bought a dress at the maternity store at the outlets and then actually saw it on sale at the same maternity store in the mall for cheaper! So just because it is an "outlet" store doesn't necessarily mean it is cheaper. However there are some great deals that are way cheaper at most of the outlet stores!

Mervyn's is an interesting place to shop. I do not go to this one regularly, mainly I frequent it during the holidays. I find their clothing in the plus size area to be pretty awful. The quality and fit is poor, and the selection is lacking. In the Junior department, however, there is a much better selection. I prefer Mervyn's for their accessories, lingerie and housewares departments. The lingerie is not exotic or anything, but you can get some solid deals on big name items. For the other 2 departments, I cruise the clearance areas and pick up socks, and placemats for low prices. Service is average, and there generally is not a crowd.

If you like Polo Ralph Lauren products or clothes then this is the store for you! They carry men and women clothing and products for the home. They carry bedding and some bathroom items. It is great because the prices are so much cheaper than you would find at a department store. They have a good selection to choose from too. When they have sales the prices are just amazing! Check them out to get high quality at a fraction of the price! Employees are always helpful and the store is kept in nice neat condition.

Target is a store I shop at all the time. I love to patrol the clearance aisles, for the latest and greatest bargains. I can always find inexpensive pajamas and socks on sale for under $1. For housewares, and gadgets, I find it all here. I especially like to check out their garden area. There are always plants on clearance that might need a little TLC. I have had very good luck with all of my plants. The service is decent, the stores are clean, and the stock is always fresh and interesting.

I love all Targets, and this one is no exception. It is a super Target- featuring a huge location and more grocery items. It is not my favorite Target, but I do go here once in awhile to mix things up. I find their clothing selection to be less my style than the other locations, which seems weird to me, but I still find stuff to buy. I like their housewares area more, there is a different selection on this as well, but more my style. Last time I went to this location, they had a lot on clearance, and they were re-arranging the store- it seems like something new is going to happen. Maybe it will be more groceries, I don't know. I will keep checking on it though, at least I will see some great deals!
They have a very nice outdoor area as well, so be sure not to miss it-- they have more displays etc that you can see than most stores. So it is handy. See you there!

This is a great place to shop! It is like an outdoor mall and they have a great selection of stores and restaurants to choose from. It is a very nice and elegant place to shop at. They have a movie theater, a great food court, and tons of specialty shops in the main area...then outside in the shopping center there is department stores. They have a rock climbing wall and a small play area for the kids to play. They always have events going on too...there is a stage where they have the events in the middle of the district area. It is a fun place to check out. Sometimes parking is packed so they also have valet service available.

Kohl’s is expanding more and more throughout the U.S. so I hope there is one near you. There is always a sale going on and there is always some great clearance buys there. You have no idea how hard it is to not to spend money there. LOL Another good thing about it is the ever growing amount of different merchandise, especially clothing. The store has everything to please all ages and most sizes. I’m a stickler when it comes to a store having certain sizes because my hubby is just barely out of range for a certain size when it comes to pants but the shirts they win brownie points for because they carry tall sizes.
I definitely recommend Kohl’s for some great deals. Also check out Kohl’s website. www.kohls.com They often have some great deals on shipping, especially around Christmas.

Sears is a store I shop at periodically. I buy tools, men’s clothing, socks and miscellaneous items. I would not suggest Sear’s for plus size apparel, although, as I swing through the Junior’s and Misses clothes, I see things I might wear, if they were in my size. I bought my front loading washer there, and I am in love with it. I had incredible assistance in that department. The sales associate was just spectacular. Generally speaking though, the service is pretty awful most of the time, and there always seems to be a line.

Kohl’s in the Desert Ridge shopping center is a place I like to shop from time to time. Overall I find their regular prices to be high, but when there are sales, the deal can be had. I have their credit card, and get coupons in the mail all the time. These are great bonuses. If you couple them with some clearance prices, you can get out of this world deals. The clothing tends to be a little generic, and often not very suitable for Phoenix, but for winter clothes, they have a nice selection. I prefer their home department. They have great bedding and bathroom items.
