We love Valle Luna. We have lived in many states (including all 4 "four-corner" states) and have not found a better Mexican resaurant anywhere. Their hot sauce and chips are heavenly, their margaritas are the best in town and their pork tacos (marinated pork on corn tortillas with onions, cilantro and pico de gallo) are to die for!

Have had excellent food and service at the Cave Creek location so i never doubted that it wouldn't be the same at the bell restaurant! NOT!! Sat in the bar area for 1/2 hour before drink order another 1/2 hour before food order that was wrong and asked for a chip refill and you would have thought i killed her mother. WOW what a difference a location makes! Never again!

The service is usually very good, and so is the food. I suggest sampling one of their soup on a cold night. My dish here is pollo fundido. Delicious!!!

Everything on the menu is great. I can never get enough of their chips and salsa. My husband and I visit Valle Luna once a week.

This place is hard to find way back in the back of the shopping center next to the paint store. Once you get inside the ambiance changes to clearly identify it as Mexican cuisine. Some of the decor, like the stuffed buffalo head seems a bit out of place. The food is decent, hot, and probably some of the best Mexican food I've had in Phoenix.

I saw the cantina glowing with the golden promise of redemption and had my driver swerve off the road so I could investigate whether it was heaven or hell that tempted me so.
Nervously, I plunged into the front portal, and was immediantly accosted by the thick aroma that played sweet nothings with my nostrils. Intrigued, I ventured further, being led by one of the minions to a table filled with offerings of corn chips and crystal clear water that had its birth in far off glaciers.
With these temptations manifested before me, the hunger was bound to come upon me like the mongol horde that ravaged the fields of Europe.
Trembling, I raised my hand and placed it upon a triangular chip that seemed to beckon my hand toward it, desiring me to pick it up. As i did so a miracle occured of which I know not what angel set forth, but a salsa dip did appear before me that was the perfect companion to my chip. Plunging the chip into this newfound friend, they mingled together and gave birth to a whole new flavor that can only be described as unholy decadence. I soon found myself enraptured in a trance-like state of gluttony of which I am ashamed to admit. In short, it was heaven.

Valle Luna is fabulous! They bring you complimentary chips and salsa before your meal is served. The chips are so warm and crisp. I've never had a bad meal there. The meat in the tacos is lean and fresh. I especially like the enchilladas. Also, if you have little ones that aren't into "spicy" mexican food, they offer a kids menu with american and mexican foods. I also like that they bring the children a side of fruit with their meals! This is a great place to eat but be prepared to wait quite awhile if you're intending on eating there on a Friday or Saturday night.

One of our favorite Mexican food restaurants. I cannot really name a favorite plate there, I like too many of them. Some of my faves are the enchiladas, the fundido, and the rellano. The Sonoran Todo on the appetizer plate is awesome too, sometimes a friend and I will go there for lunch and share it, it has little tacos, tostados, chimis, burritos, and taquitos on it.
