Shogun is a great place to take friends and family that love sushi. We had lunch there this weekend, and had a great time. The service is great, and the atmosphere is upbeat and fun. If you want a bigger adventure, sit at the sushi bar. I would highly suggest the Surfer Roll. It has spicy tuna, salmon roe, and shrimp in some kind of yummy orange sauce. This roll is more expensive than other rolls, but it is huge. I think I could eat just that for lunch. The other item that I love is their turkey salad. I order this with tempura, and it is great. To finish it off, if you have any room, I suggest the Ninja sundae. It is usually best shared, and slightly modified- it is a piece of spongecake tempura fried, topped with green tea ice cream and chocolate sauce. I say modified because the old menu had oyster sauce and chocolate sauce, so I say skip the chocolate, and go for the oyster… again, this is a meal in itself. Awesome!

This Japanese restaurant is fabulous. The sushi is terrific and they offer a wide variety of other dishes too. One of my favorite things about this place is the patio. It has heaters and a really nice fireplace to keep you warm in the winter months. Because of the volume of business they do take a little longer than other restaurants but it is worth it.
