It's really exciting that we have our own sort of small amusement park here in the Valley! I would still rather want to be at a full fledged amusment park out in California, but the drive and money to travel out west makes it semi worth it to go to Castle and Coasters.
There are a few fun rides that make the day worth the trip to castle and coasters, and the prices are reasonable for all the fun that you will have.
My only concern is that everything seems old, grungy and dirty. IF they only refurbished a few things here and there, gave some rides a really good scrubbing then this place would be the bomb!!

You can get 2 for 1 coupons from the entertainment book or from the local stores like Frys several times a year. The courses are neat and well maintained. They is also a large arcade with a variety of video games and pinballs machines. Makes for a great family picnic

Castles and Coasters has a lot to offer the whole family. Rides, video game arcade, golfing etc. is what you can do. The prices of the food isn't overly expensive. I went on a summer evening and by 8pm a lot of the concessions stands were out of a lot of food items. I thought that was odd since it was their peak time. Also, the rides are all run by very young workers that all seem busy chatting with eachother. It made me wonder how attentive they are to the rides they're running. I would probably go again.

Castles N Coasters is a nice place for family and friends. My friend found this place on the internet and got us all $5 off coupons. They've got good rides but off course, nothing compares to those big theme parks. The Sky Diver ride blew me away and the Desert Storm roller coaster ride literally killed my voice.

This is a fun place that kids really love. There are some small roller coasters and other rides. They also have mini golf and an arcade. If you have kids, it's a fun activity that they will probably love! I'm not sure if teenagers would have a good time though if they are with their parents.
If you are a family on a budget, the Phoenix Entertainment book has buy-one-get-one coupons in it.

This place just cracks me up. It is so funny to me to have this mini-amusement park right next to the local mall. This is a really fun place for kids, and those that are young at heart. They have roller coasters, but I have never been on them. I come here for the great miniature golf course that they have and the huge selection of video games that they have. It is a great way to spend a day with the family, and when it is hot outside it is great to stay inside playing their video games. It is a really busy place and a bit run-down, but it gets the job done.

Castles N Coasters is getting pretty run down these days. It was never a big fancy amusement park, but they have really let the cleanliness slide the past few years.
Nevertheless, it's still fun for adults and kids over five or six years old. They have great roller coasters, a log flume ride and typical amusement park rides. Their miniature golf course is a lot of fun, and there are also bumper boats, go-carts and an arcade. Don't go on a weekend night if you have small children as it tends to be overrun with teenagers and younger couples on dates.

This is a small amusement park located near Metrocenter Mall. Although it is small, it has a few good rides, such as the Splash Down log ride and the Desert Storm roller coaster. However, better than the amusement park is the miniature golf park attached to it. It has the best mini-golfing in all of Phoenix.

Pros - Has a little bit of everything for everyone in one place - roller coaster, mini golf course and flumes.
Shopping mall in vicinity to allow Moms a day by themselves as Dads and Kids stay busy.
Cons - Dirty wash areas and yucky food.
Not enough variety as far as coasters are concerned.
Overall, I wouldn't go there again unless I had nothing better to do in AZ heat

My husband wanted to drag our family here when his nephew came to visit. This would be the last place I would take my family again. The place wasn't that clean. I know it is mostly outside but come on, certain things should still be fairly clean. Like restrooms and where I eat. And it was really expensive. They also won't let you bring any kind of food or beverage into the park. Having two girls on restricted diets, I was disappointed that there was nothing that they could eat.
