This store has the best collection of Hindi movies in central Phoenix. You can get all latest hits and releases. The grocery is though another story. The prices are way high and the variety of products is just Ok. Another positive aspect of this shop is the owner who is very cheerful, greets you with a warm smile and is very courteous and helpful

Just because it's Phoenix and we are in Arizona doesn't mean there are no good Asian restaurants and markets. There quite a few actually. One I mentioned in a previous review, Manila Foodmart, and Loi Phat, one that I also frequent just because it is a quicker drive. Like Manila, they also have a great produce area and lots of interesting and authentic Asian treats. Everything there is also worth buying there instead of your local market that is overpriced. Oh, and they have lucky bamboo for a $1 each!

I really like this market, but go there somewhat infrequently due to the high prices. You do get what you pay for, though. They have a large selection of hard to find items, including certain vegetables and spices.

Sprouts Farmers Market has a great collection of natural produce. They have a great variety of fruits and vegetables at very reasonable price. You can also get spices, pretzels and other snacks, dry fruits, pulses and beans, soup mix, pancake mix, granolas, dried fruits, chocolate chips and assortment of trail mixes. There bakery has great apple strudel and cakes. The prices are very good and you can also get organic produce here

Sprouts is another store that I like to shop at. Like Sunflower Market, they feature a small supply of organic produce, but a fine supply of hormone free, and pesticide free meat. I also enjoy their body products section. The prices are high if there are no sales, but sales can yield some excellent deals. If you are looking to juice some oranges in citrus season, you can find deals like 9 pounds of oranges for 99 cents! Yikes! That is a lot of juice. I highly suggest this location. It is in an area near the mall, and is clean and inviting.

Yesterday there were triple coupons at Bashas, so I felt compelled to shop there, even though it is not my usual place. We ended up at this location because we were chaining our trips, and this was the last stop.
This is one of the smaller Basha's and the store seems to be on the older side. The selections are very limited in terms of stock. We were looking for anything organic in terms of produce, and there was nothing to be had. The liquor department ( hey we needed margaritas!) was extremely small. We wanted to pick a tequila, and had only 4 choices of brands. We of course were loaded up with coupons ripe for the tripling, but discovered that for every coupon we had, the product's price was about double what other stores would be. I ended up not using one coupon, as the prices were awful, even after doubling. We needed some tea, and discovered our favorite brand, at twice the price of any other store, as well as expired and faded on the shelf.
Needless to say, we ended up going out again to another store to get what we needed. As much as I hate to give an unfavorable review, this store is not one I would suggest. If you are looking for deals, try Fry's or Sprouts. If you are looking for the best quality, and/or organic foods, Whole Foods is the best.

They have great value on garden produce and meat. Everything is absolutely fresh and moderate prices. The fruits here are amazing, juicy, sweet and tasty. I always get berries and melons from them. They also have great tasting breads, strudels, pies and cheese. The whole market is very neat and well maintained

More
Bashas is a chain of grocery stores that caters to the middle man and is affiliated with Food City and AJ’s grocers. Food City has the cheapest products as far as produce and meat products go and caters to the Latino market and AJ’s caters the upper class markets in Phoenix. I go to Bashas probably once a month because I find a couple good deals in their ads or if they offer triple coupons. I don’t go there more because they are a little more of a drive than the grocery store I go to all the time. I would definitely recommend going on the triple coupon days. Although, whenever I go there to get those couple good deals from the ad and I have a longer list of things I often find that long list not on sale and high priced. So if I go there just for a couple things or on the big coupon days it’s a good deal. I also can’t pass up Bashas bakery. They have the best cannolis!

Let’s face it, 7-11’s are everywhere because people use them. If you need a quick soda or coffee when you are filling your tank, you know you can get it here. I especially enjoy being able to run in and get a lotto ticket on a big drawing day. If you need some other things in a pinch, you can get them too, but be ready to pay. Although I have seen a periodic good deal at 7/11, they really charge more for your convenience.
