I have been to the Arizona Science Center several times. All of the times I have went, I went with my kids on field trips. There is so much to do there, but the admission price is a little high, espicially when you have several children. It is worth the money though.

When I wandered into the House of Karate I found a place that pushed me to improve myself each day. The physical benefits of strength, coordination, and balance were quick and easy to see. The mental benefits of diminished fear, inner calm, and increased self-esteem took a bit longer to achieve, but now I feel each every day. We have been to Castles N Coasters a couple of time now and have had a great time each time we went. My kids went on the roller coaster and we played mini golf. The log ride was also great. They also have an entertainment area with video games. You could easily spend the whole day there. The price is okay.

I have a friend who brings his child here, and he would recommend this pre-school to anyone with young kids. It gives kids structured learning activities at a reasonable price. Addequeately seperate kids by age group. They take each kids needs into consideration. This place is very clean also. So you won't need to worry about your child constantly getting sick.

This is a K-8 school and it is a nice school for kids to go to. The staff is very educated and supportive of the students. The staff is like a large family, it is a nice environment for everyone involved. They have several new buildings, they could still use some more. The only draw back is that the school is overpopulated for the size.

Yes, it's a public school, gasp gasp, but it's one of the best public schools in the Tempe High School District.
If you're looking for a school that isn't as dangerous as let's say, McClintock or Mountain Point, Desert Vista is for you.
If your kid is studious and competitive and all around smart and you want him/her to stay that way, Desert Vista is for you.
Sports are also a highlight at DVHS; no one joins a team unless they know what they're doing, and more than likely, everyone on the team works together. It's a great environment academically and athletically.
