Asin's abilities as a physician 12/26/2013

Writing "dangerous" is absurd and uninformed. He was too caring and concerned about patients and allowed them to talk him into providing medications which the patients then misused. That caused the patient the problem, not the physician's care. He is informed, concerned and capable. He does though have front office help he should fire. more

The best!!! 7/23/2012

He's interested, well studied, always compassionate, and nice to be around! Go OK! LOL! more

Highly educated and informed 9/14/2011

I have been a patient of this doctor since 1987. He has treated me with dignity and respect. I have a neuropathy which HE diagnosed and referred me to neurlogist, he has diagnosed other ailments, referred me to specialists who agree with his findings. My pain medication regime is one he started and has been continued by pain mgmt clinic. The individual who wrote that horrible review appears to have an axe to grind with this doctor. Please have no fear this doctor is EXCELLENT. more

One of a kind... THE BEST 6/7/2011

He is caring, takes time with you and really cares at finding and treating what is wrong with you. He is not the fast food type of health care you get most of the time nowadays. I would highly recommend him. more

Best of the Best 12/9/2010

Go see Dr Asin, one time and you will not see any other doctor. Words can't describe the comfort and peace of mind that you receive while being treated by Dr Asin. People pass away all the time and its unfortunate, not the doc’s fault... Example of what our doctors go through is it fair? I’ll let you decide! I just spoke to a bariatric Dr. My first question was how many have you lost? His answer was according to the board of medicine you can go through the lap band surgery and have no complications. The patient heals and everything is well. Then the patient passes away six months later of heart attack, and it could still be contributed to surgery even if you had a bad heart prior to getting the surgery… Any way don’t take my word for it research yourself and give the Dr Asin 2 thumbs up! more

Do your homework, this doctor receives regular reprimands for inappropriate prescribing and lack of follow up. Just remember, you trust these folks with your life. more

I've been with Dr. Asin for almost 3yrs now. He spends time talking with all his patients. He is very understanding, and helpfull. more

Knowledgeable,informative,caring 3/23/2010

I have been seeing Dr Asin since 1993, He is extremely knowledgeable in treating my neuropathy, fibromyalgia and parathryoid abnormalities. He has been more current then Mayo Clinic and Barrow Neurological Hospital. I have the greatest respect and admiration for his opinion and compassion. If looking for a primary Physcian look no further, you have found the best. more

Caring & Concerned Doctor - The Best!!!!! 2/16/2008

I've only been going to Dr Asin for 2 and a half years, but have been seeing doctors regularly since 1981 for chronic pain, high blood pressure and high cholesterol. And in all these years Dr Asin would be one of the two best I've seen (the other saved my life in 2000). He really cares that I'm not in pain and sends me to specialists when I need one. He's very friendly, direct and to the point, and truly cares that I have a better life, health-wise. I remember him saying on one of my very first appointments that if I am in pain, it can't be easy to enjoy life. And that is what he helps and want me to do, enjoy life. The other thing really great about Dr Asin is that he works with me to find the right combinations of meds. I have been on so many meds since I was 18 for all kinds of stuff. Dr Asin and I want to reduce the amount of medicines I take without reducing the correct effects of the meds. This to me is great, the less meds the better, and he agrees! Anyone would be blessed to have Dr Gerald Asin as their doctor!!! And is nurse, Robin, is so efficient and as nice as Dr Asin. more

Best Doctor I've Ever Had 12/3/2007

Dr. Asin truly listens, and gets the patient involved to the level the patient want to be. I never feel as if I'm "on the clock" - as long as I want to take, that's how long he'll be with me. He cares, and is extremely competent. He's even better than the GP I was going to when I was 30 (that was the same GP who delivered me!). more

Dr Gerald Asin, Internist - Good listener, solver of problems, & a very nice guy! 6/1/2007

In my 49 years of life, I think Dr Asin is my best primary care doctor ever. He really listens to what my pains & problems are, explains his evaluations and proposed treatments, always lets me have a say, and he genuinely cares about relieving my pains. Between Dr Asin and Robin, his fantastically efficient nurse, I feel I can always get answers to questions, prescription renewals, appointments, etc. These are fantastic people!!!! Tops!!!!! more

Dr. Asin--A Good, Honest Man 5/1/2007

Dr. Asin always makes time to see me when I am in need. He takes the time to understand who I am and how my body works when making suggestions about my care. He's consultative, friendly, and is very quick but he does not hurry. more

After 10 years of back pains and many doctors telling me that it was a pinched nerve I was fortunate enough to go and see Dr. Asin. Dr Asin was able to diagnose me and true find the problem I am currently treating. Dr. Asin is a very nice and very personable doctor that truly listens to the patient. He has my full confidence and would not hesitate to recommend him. Jessie K, Scottsdale more

I suppose I would like to write the best reveiw for the best doctor I know of -- but, I don't want the waiting room more crowded than it already is.... The only thing good about being sick is being seen by Dr. Asin and the nice staff at N. Scottsdale Healthcare! more

Dr. Gerald Asin 10/19/2005

I have been going to Dr. Asin for close to 10 years. He is the best doctor, and does take all the time necessary to help all his clients. He is very knowledgable in all areas of medicine, and is not closed minded to homeopathic medicine, if you want to try them or are personally sold on them. He believes all his clients are deservant of knowledge. Sincerely, Tracy Larks more

Dr Gerald Asin - friendly caring doctor 7/29/2005

The waiting room is clean and the staff is friendly. Dr Gerald Asin is a friendly, caring doctor. He takes the time to listen to your problems and will keep running tests and searching until he figures out what is wrong. He was able to diagnose my husband when others had failed. When you are sick, the office always makes room to see you even on short notice. The problem with that is sometimes he runs late but only because he takes his time with you. I would definitely recommend this doctor to anyone. more
