I originally saw DR Williams, who is nothing short of amazing. But because he is so great, I had to plan my visits in advance which can be hard when you have a small children! So, I alternated between Tim & Sonia and received excellent care. However, the front office staff when I first started using this office was really bad. Someone at the office must have taken some of these reviews to heart, because in the last year or so, there has been a complete turn around. I am especially thankful for Michelle and Janice who have answered the phones every time I've called in the last several months. They have been consistently professional and caring, even when I can tell that they are busy. They always take an extra few seconds to ask me how I am when I tell them my name. Needless to say, this is definitely not the reception I had gotten prior to these wonderful women being hired. Also, after Sonia left, then Tim, I was really considering finding a new office. Then, Thank God, the amazing Cathy Guinan walked into my room. Honestly, for the first time ever, I truly feel like the person that I've entrusted with my healthcare REALLY cares about my well being. She has taken the time to explain different medications, check and recheck any possible drug interactions, explain how my different illnesses function and why and gives me choices on how my treatment will work. They say that patients and their healthcare provider are supposed to be partners and work together. This is the first time I've felt that I have a partner in my healthcare. Cathy...if you read this...you are AWESOME!! THANK YOU!!
Pros: Cathy, the newest NP. Michelle & Janice answering phones.
Cons: Busy office, sometimes wait time is long.

I called at 2:45 to come in for a followup vacine. The receptionist told me that if I could be there by 3:15 they could get me in. I dropped everything and got there by 3:05, signed in, then waited.
As I waited for 30-45 minutes I saw people leaving in anger from waiting so long. I told the desk lady that I just needed a vacine......she gruffed that I still needed an exam, and that I was next.
Another 45 minutes pass and I went back to the window, and pointed to my watch and she then said "you need an exam, and we are busy and backed up, so I cannot tell you when it will be."
I replied that it would have been nice if she had told me on the phone not to come in today, or that I could come and wait to get in, but no gaurantee on time, or somehow let me know that the office was backed up.
She raised her voice, and drew her sword and personal power by saying "DO YOU WANT TO RESHEDULE". To which I replied that I just want people to tell me the truth, I can deal with delays or don;t come in today. Not arrogance.
She slammed the glass window on me as if she were withdrawing into the real world of physicians and staff.... and physically deviding herself from the rable world of the paitents who should shut up, eat cake, take a hike or whatever they do when doctors and staff run the very important business of a doctor's office.
You see, your time is not important.....hers is.
It is a sad thing that this is the front office for one of the best family physicians in the state of Arizona.
Pros: Dr. Williams is a fantastic Physician
Cons: Front desk staff need to be fired

My husband went in on Monday, saw a PT for his symptoms...3 weeks of loose bowels, bloody mucus in his stools....she told him it was probably his nerves....AAARRRRRRGH.........................and they can't even find my medical files. The PT I was seeing is no longer there and they don't know who took me on as a patient......obviously, we are done with them...

I have been a patient at Squaw Peak for at least 10 years. First I saw Betty and she left and then I started seeing Tim. Tim was a great doctor and listened to my problems and helped me through some very difficult times. I complained to him one time that I could never get through to him and asked if the staff ever gives him my messages. He then gave me his cell phone number to call if I ever needed him and what to do if it was an emergency. I am EXTREMELY upset that he quit your office but can't blame him. I am trying to track him down since he knows everything about me. I think someone at your office should try and get him back at all costs. Now I have to make a decision: do I see Dr. Williams or Dr. Kelley and do I have to start all over. And if I stay, is it worth putting up with the staff. About two years ago, the office manager decided not to take my insurance (PHCS) anymore due to lag time in reimbursement of claims. I continued to see Tim even though I had to pay out-of-network. I have to say when I submitted my claims, I didn't wait long for payment. Since that time, the front office staff is different everytime you go in and even if you have an 11:00 apointment, you get put in a room and wait another 45 minutes to an hour before seeing anyone. I have a feeling if you don't so something soon, you will be losing a number of patients. GET TIME BACK OR LET US KNOW WHERE HE WENT!!!
Pros: Tim Davis was the best PA I have ever seen
Cons: Poor front staffing

What is wrong with the office staff at Squaw Peak Family Physicians! Is it just poor management or do they not pay their office employees enough or do they hire unexperienced personal? They are very rude and will not get off their dairy air to see if something is waiting for a patient to pick up. It was worth putting up with the office staff to see Dr. Tim Davis, however I heard that he left the office last month. The staff says they do not know where he went. I have been seeing Tim for almost 10 years now and am very up-set over this. I want to know where he went, so I can continue to be under his care. This is so up-setting and I do not want to start over with another doctor. I have sent several people to this office over the years and will no longer do that. You have the worst office staff in Phoenix!
Pros: Doctors were very good
Cons: Office staff is horrible

Like everyone else, Drs. Kelly & Williams were my doctors. I always knew that I would get better and all my questions would be answered. For over a decade, I knew that if I had a medical problem I had a place to go. HOWEVER, for over the past 3 or 4 years things are very different now. The front staff are terrible!! The employees act as if they work for the Government and blessing the rest of us idiots with their time. Everytime I call, I am placed on hold by some one who seems to be bothered by the phone. I guess maybe I interupted a game of spider solitaire or something. Because of the absolute lack of human concern by the front staff and appointment setters. I will not be back. Maybe, these doctors built a large enough patient base that they don't need me or my VERY large extended family. I sure some other office would like us since we are now getting older and will need more medical services. It too bad such a great place had to be ruined by apathetic front office management
Pros: Carrying Doctors
Cons: Inhumane Front office staff

My Wife and I have been Seeing Dr. Kelley for 12 years. The Doctors have given excellent service every time, but I agree with the other review about the support staff. I don't make a point to go to the doctor every time i feel ill, but when I do call, I expect service. Over the last 4 years, it has been next to impossible to get an appointment, unless I wait 2 weeks. My wife tried numerous times to get an appointment, and wound up getting pneumonia in the meantime. I called today and got the same song and dance "I'm sorry, but we have no appointments until the 11th." which is in another 2 weeks. The receptionist suggested that I seek help from a pharmacist.... A PHARMACIST??? Are you kidding ME? I am SO FRUSTRATED by this lack of care for the people who pay the bills. Dr. Kelley, something in your business model is just not working. It seems that the answer will be no before I ever describe what I need to see the doctor for. We are on thin Ice about ever going back. Something needs to change, hopefully before more people post negative comments.
Pros: Great location
Cons: Cant' get an appointment, staff acts like they don't care and are too busy to deal with you.

.. now I am looking again for a primary care physician and hoping that the doctor's staff makes it easier and more comfortable for me. I am also hoping I could find a doctor as caring and as good as Dr Williams. Maybe Dr Williams and his co-MDs should consider replacing everyoe at the front desk and anyone answering the phone. They are unfriendly and not courteous and you would feel unwelcome right away. An attending nurse was a little friendlier than the rest of the staff but smelled she just smoked at that time she had to tend to me.

I have never used Dr. Kelly. Dr. Williams and Tim Davis are the greatest. Their service, attitude and knowledge is beyond outstanding. I hope I never have to change doctors. However, their staff leaves SO MUCH to be desired. They are not friendly, helpful or competent. Fortunately, Tim and Dr. Williams are so good, it is worth putting up with the staff to go there. Well, not all of the staff is bad. Beverly was very helpful when we were straightening out some insurance problems. I have referred several people and I know a few have left because of the staff - NOT because of Tim or Dr. Williams. I can't say enough about how good they are. They are the best.
Pros: Greatest doctors ever. The very best PA I have ever used.
Cons: Staff could be lots friendlier and more competent.
