Regarding re packaging of materials.
It is my undestanding that express buys the cheapest material they can get there hands on and repackages it into there own boxes. They then go as far as to tell the customer that there material comes with some over inflated and rediculous warranty. I've heard as high as 60 years!!! People if they want to warranty this material for those periods of time then thats great but you should ask for a copy of everything in writing. Don't be stupid consumers. They offer 60% off. 60% off of what. If 1200 feet of laminate costs you 10950.00. Then that means before your 60% discount you were at 17,520.00. SEVENTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR LAMINATE!!! Even TEN THOUSAND!!! 10,900 devided 1200 feet equalls 9 dollars a foot. for 9 a foot you can do a lot better then some cheap 39cent chinese garbage. Come on wake the hell up. THey get away with it because theres no price gouging laws in AZ.
Your starting to see all these emails because the employees can't sleep at night. They're good people being made to participate in a fraud of the people. You can't be mad at the low level employees. They are people with families to support. They're doing what they have to to survive while the guys at the top of this fat cash cow are touring the world, buying new houses or bigger office buildings.
Another point to consider. They offer a lifetime installation warranty. Take the time to read every line of the back of the contract. They have an out for almost anything that can go wrong. That warranty isn't worth the price of the paper its printed on.

Dear Management,
I have recently utilized your company for the purchase and installation of both tile and carpet flooring. In the process of our lengthy and extensive remodel, we have used various companies, from the local hardware store, to Lowes and Home Depot, to painters and cabinet makers. In each and every instance, we have been disappointed and angered by the level of customer service and product delivery. In each instance, that is, with the exception of your company.
In the case of our tile purchase and installation, we were pleased with the service, timeliness, cleanliness, and overall outcome. However, our carpet purchase had a snag when the wrong carpet was delivered for our installation. In this situation, one of your employees in particular, Andrea Baucon, went above and beyond your normal quality service. She worked diligently on our behalf to get the carpet delivered from Phoenix to Tucson. She kept in contact with me throughout our planned installation date annd even provided me with her personal cell phone number for after office hours. In addition your installers (Hector's team) came at 4:30 pm to install the carpet the day before the 4th of July and were quick, pleasant, and effcient. Although the dust has barely settled, I'm sure if I do encounter a problem with either of our installations, that your company and its employees will work to solve any problems to our satisfaction.
Please pass along my thanks and appreciation to your team members and know that I will recommend your company at any and every opportunity I find.

I just want to say a couple of things regarding my appt. last night with Neil and Mike.
First they were on time (which is so wonderful)
Second they treated both my brother and myself with the utmost respect
Third - we had one hell of a time during the whole process. They listen to what we were saying and they were very impressed with the knowledge that my brother has. So again I just wanted to let you know that those two people made the purchase of my carpet the best experience for which I have had so far with your company. Keep up the good customer service.
We had a blast with them both - the carpet which we picked out is just so beautiful and warm feeling through out the house.
The price was good - but thought it could be a little less (wishful thinking)

He even went out of his way to calm me down when I was having second thoughts on the tile we picked. (yes I was one of those customers). When it came time to install which I might add was on time and fast. The two men who did our tile were very, very good and clean, efficient what else can I say the over all experience was great. The purpose of this letter is to thank EXPRESS FLOORING for the excellent product and service we received from Express Home Services, LLC and to point-up a shortfall in terms of "customer documentation". We are very thankful for the serrvice received from your Design Consultant (chuck Lane) and Installer ("Z"). Both these individuals demonstrated solid professionalism with sincere concern for the customer. Both of these individuals makes your firm stand out among the competition.
Mr. Lane did an excellent job of explaining the Express products, costs and their attributes, to include their maintenance and warrantees. He showed extreme patience and genuine concern in responding to our many questions annd areas of worry.
Mr. Z demonstrated extreme professionalism as a master-craftsman and diligent worker with focused accuracy annd relentless persistence in getting things right. We are most pleased and refreshed to experience such high competence and extraordinary work ethic that he displayed.
In spite of Chuck's meticulous explanations of the sales documents and their content, a serious documentation shortfall appears to be the "ILLEGIBLE CUSTOMER COPIES". The carbon copies are not readable so we herewith request a copy-machine copy of the "originals" be mailed to us. The reference document number is T30708 dated 4-27-09.

Your Design Consultant could not have been more helpful explaining annd showing the products available. He made it easy for us to make a choice on what we wanted done.
Your installers were here when promised and did an excellent job. Being in construction all my life, I know good workmanship when I see it. My own employees have accused me of being too particular, however if I can see something that could have been done better, it should have been done better.
The areas being floored were very chopped up, naot a very good place for an inexperienced installer to want to work on. The man you sent here was both very experienced and competent. it was obvious Shaun Marsh the installer, took pride in what he was doing.
In this day and age we all feel we're paying too much for things, but I fully received my monies worth.

This letter is to let you know about an employee that went above and beyond what was required of them.
On May 13, 2006 I got my appointments and saw that one of them said please pick up some samples at the office. At first I thought the customer had come in and selected them. But I was wrong. I got to my 3:00 appointment and started to bring in the 7 or 8 different porcelain designer boards, that to me the customer picked out. then I asked the customer when did they pick it out? The customer informed me that she had only called in a talked to our customer service representative, and that they talked to them for over 30 minutes. And that they were extremely helpful and a total joy to talk to. The customer service person also set aside all the samples for me to pick up on their own.
End result: after almost a six hour presentation of the items I brought in and the good feeling she had going in due to our more than helpful service person. I closed the deal at 33,101.10.
Cassandra has my amazing thanks and admiration for a job done so well, the bar is bent beyond recognition.
Thanks for letting me be a part of this great evolving team.
