This is a wonderful little bookstore tucked away in the Central Corridor. It carries new books, new music, and other types of gifts and cards. They even have an extensive used book section with older, but still applicable books. It is a great place to check out during a lunch break downtown.

This bookstore has a great selection of hard to find books and magazine and they carry several different kinds of books. If you are looking for an off the wall magazine or topic, I definitely reccomend this place! They offer specials all the time and have great sales. The staff is friendly and the prices are average. Tons of great reading material -- much better than some of the other big name guys.

This is a great store with a HUGE selection of every kind of book for much cheaper than the big name bookstores. They have books in perfect condition and not so perfect condition and the prices are INCREDIBLE! They are located right next to Target so it's easy to get into the store and find parking. The staff is REALLY nice and very helpful and the store is set up really nice and is always clean and tidy looking.
This is a store that has a lot of books for cheaper prices. I bought harry potter here for half the price that it was at other stores. THe books aren't cheap looking, in fact they are in good condition and the prices once again are amazing. The stores like right next to Target so just look for the red cricle and you'll find it. THe people ther are a great help and keep the bathrooms clean.

About a year ago a Bookmans opened up a couple miles away from where I live. If you hate borrowing books from the library yet you still hate paying full price for a book this is a great store to go to. Not every book will be there but there is a heck of a selection. This is the wasteful spender in me talking, but it's a great store to browse and just see what you can find. Other than books in the store they have a used magazine section, a music and electronics section and a kids corner than has used toys and games. It's too tempting to buy something every time I go so I try to avoid it as much as possible. LOL You can also sell any of these things at the store...this is based on supply, demand and condition, of course.

This Christian book store has much more than just books. They have all kinds of items for sale and everything is reasonably priced. They have excellent service and will help you find just what you are looking for. The store is pretty big with a wide variety of items to choose from. There is always plenty of parking available as well.

Hero Comics a small comic shop located in Phoenix. It is a nice little out-of-the-way shop that has a friendly vibe to it, but it just seems too small to me to be a shop to visit on a weekly basic and gets excited about and have fun at. To me, it seems more like a little shop to stop at when it is convenient to pick up whatever I am in need of at the time. Most other shops I have visited have been bigger and had more a "community feel" as opposed to this "small shop" feel. I am always glad to see a comic shop surviving these days, and I know that economically it is not easy to keep this shops going, but this place just doesn't have the space and content that I need in a good comic shop.

This Waldenbooks is kind of on the small side, compared to other locations I have visited. Because of this, it may be hard to find anything other than mainstream books on the shelves. The prices tend towards the high side, so I don’t find myself shopping there, unless I need something faster than overstock can ship it. The service is friendly, and they are always willing to help you locate what you need. So if you are looking for a friendly touch, I would suggest this location.

They carry a wide variety of magazines and are always changing the featured issues that are displayed on separate racks. They have creative and unique ways of grouping them that brings attention to the magazines and the store.
The book selection is vast; the staff is knowledgeable, helpful, and creatively suggestive when you have questions. They will also search for and order any book requests that they do not have in stock.

This store is nice but it is very pricey. Almost all the childrens books averaged about thirteen dollars. I liked the titles they carried but it was very formal. There werent any places to sit and read or take a look. Also they didnt carry many magazines. Overall it was a nice store but you sacrifice price for luxury.
