Finally I have found a salon that doesn't make me feel like I am bothering them.
I walked into the Elizabeth Arden in the Biltmore Fashion Park and was immediately greeted by a happy face. The young lady escorted me to the second floor where I waited just a minute.
The gentleman was attentive and personable. He listened to my wishes and made suggestions, never making me feel rushed or pressured.
I can't wait to take advantage of all the services.

This was my first visit here and I wanted an eyebrow waxing and a haircut. When I arrived at the spa I immediately went upstairs for my haircut. I was not at all impressed by my stylist, Alexsei. She did what I thought was a rush job. I asked for a 3 inch trim with some layers, a very easy cut , but she managed to mess it up horribly. I received a 4 inch haircut and it was all one length! I had a bob. I didn't realize the haircut was messed up because I did not get it blown dry and styled because I was going to a pool party afterwards. The eyebrow waxing was ok, not the best one I've ever had but also not the worst. Considering the price of the services there I would not return.

The Red Door Spa is a pretty nice place to go for some pampering. The location looks small, but it is space very well used. I got a 90 minute massage, and I was in pure heaven. I almost fell asleep I was so soothed. The prices are higher than the average massages in Phoenix, but this is the Biltmore area, so for that, the prices are probably right in line. The therapists were professional and courteous, and the environmental was quite soothing. If you’ve got a couple hundred dollars to spend on pampering, I suggest this location.

This salon and spa is one of the most classy establishments I have ever been too. parking is always easy to find, and there is very little traffic in the spa. The ladies are courteous and are very attentive to your needs. If you have a special request, for example you have a neck injury and can only lay a certain way they will accomodate you. I recommend going during the off season (basically not around the holidays) if you're looking for cheaper prices.

I visited the Red Door Salon and Spa to have a facial and eyebrow wax. It was my first time at a salon, and I learned quite a bit about spas while I was there.
The eyebrow waxing was excellent. I had never had one before and found that it really didn't hurt to have it done. The gal was very good.
My facial was enjoyable, but I don't think I'd have one done again. I learned I'm not in to that type of relaxing and fussing. Next time I'll try a massage.
The salon/spa provides a full-range of services including: hair, nails, waxing, massages, facials, peels, just about anything you'd want. You can buy the services individually or as packages for half-days or full-days. The prices are very spendy. They also try to upsell you on their products, in almost an aggressive way.
While I did learn a lot, I think the next spa I'll try won't have a bunch of products they want to sell me, I'll just pay the big bucks to have my services done and not feel guilty when I don't buy any products!
