We were invited out to dinner with my cousin and her husband. They invited us for the chefs table, which we had no idea what to expect. All I can say is WOW!!! We were totally blown away by this experience. When they lead you into the restaurant and take you in the kitchen, I have to admit that was slightly strange, but if we would be treated to the 12 course tasting menu we had, I would gladly sit with the chef's every time I went out. Chef Jason was the most creative, astounding, passionate chef it has been our pleasure to dine with. I read in the paper just the other day that he is only 24 yrs old...well I definitely expect him to have an incredible future, and to become tops in his career. If one can cook at this stage the way he does at such a young age then look out, what a talent. Our waiter Ben was one of the nicest most knowledgeable, attentive, wonderful servers ever!!! I definitely donot want to leave out Max the pastry chef who also was very creative and definitely had a strong sense of pride in his work. All the kitchen staff was so friendly, they really wanted your input, and just gave us a very memorable evening. I would recommend if you want a totally impressive evening that will knock your socks off, treat yourself to this wonderful experience. Thanks again guys...Hope you see this.

This place is gorgeous. The entire room just got remodeled and it looks beautiful. I went with some friends for cocktails before having dinner in the Fountain and I will be back soon. The drinks are great and everyone is very friendly. The chairs and couches are super comfortable and you won't want to leave. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a classy lounge experience in Philadelphia
Pros: Staff very friendly, ambiance great, awesome cocktails

Two busy bars, seven labyrinthine dining rooms (hung with photos of the former owner with all manner of celebrities) and a touristy gift shop provide the setting for this early 19th Century restaurant that many people consider the prime "destination" restaurant in Philadelphia. It is still a venue for many sports, political and show-biz folks who come to town. Mere mortals are welcome, too. This fine dining restaurant focuses on an American menu with a menu based largely on seafood. Expect the average entrée to cost over $30, and dress casual.

A very expensive hotel, but worth every penny if you are looking for that luxury experience in a hotel. It is very centrally located on the Ben Franklin Parkway, walking distance to City Hall and the Art Museum. The hotel is very well appointed with doormen to hold the doors open for you, complimentary hot beverages in the lobby during the cold months and vice versa in the summer. The staff live up to the expectations of a 5 star establishement, the restaurants are spectacular as are the rooms!

We like to go in for drinks and tapas mostly, however we have eaten dinner there and the food, service and drinks are out of this world!!!!

Restorante Panorama has a great selection of wines; the Italian food is average and overpriced. They have over 120 wines by the glass, and their "specialty" is wine flights (1.5 oz of 5 types of wine). Our server was knowledgeable and helpful about the wine. The location is fabulous, but the service was slow. It took us over 2 hours to eat dinner; we did not order appitizers, salads, soup, or dessert (so just one course). Fun place to dine, especially for budding wine lovers!

I stayed at this hotel for the weekend. I booked the Girls Night Out Package which included breakfast and a spa treatment. That was the best money that I've ever spent. There was an error when we checked in and honestly, I think it was my mistake. But they took care of immediately took care of it and gave us coupons for dinner. The room was immaculate and it was nostalgic to be in the old PSFS bank turned hotel. (That was my first bank when I was little)The breakfast (thank goodness it was free) was petite, delicious but very small. We had to order waffles with a side of eggs and a side of bacon. So it wasn't free in the end but still good.
And the spa treatment ... ahhh, magnificent. I'm definitely going to book another weekend like this.
