This is another great day for the family. The kids will love the fossils and bones and fossilized eggs that they can touch. The dinosaur skeletons are really impressive. The last time I was there they had a huge butterfly exhibit where you walked through an enclosed area full of plants and butterflies of all sorts were all around you. If you stood still they even would land on you. There are rocks and minerals and gems to see.
There are also areas where large taxidermy specimens of game animals are on display behind glass in settings made to look like their natural habitat. This is a fun place!

I really used to have a problem with trolley services. Often I would see the owners abuse the animals. It was a very beautiful day in Philadelphia and i wanted to be spontaneous. I decided to splurge on a horse ride. It was really great. It was peaceful and calming. The driver was talkative and kept me entertained. There were parts of the city I have never seen before. What I liked most about the experience was how kind the owner was to his horse. I would splurge on more of these rides if i had the time.
