A few years ago, my Grandmother bought tickets to the flower show for herself, me and my mother... for mother's day. It was a fantastic excursion into a fantasy garden. Each step was garnished with wonder... Each small individual garden gave a glimpse of another contient.
The downside... the business and crowd... The upside... The miniature rooms in a judged exhibit. tiny little gardens cultivated in tiny little lit boxes, and hand crafted miniature furniture and lamps.

The Philadelphia Flower show is not to be missed. The displays and the sheer breadth of the exhibits is breathtaking. Sure, it's really expensive to take a family, and most days the crowds are dense...but it's really a one of a kind type of experience. It really is beautiful.

The Philadelphia Flower show is a yearly event you cannot miss. It occurs in Center City at the Philadelphia Convention center. Its got a great variety of flowers and love the little displays and how they tie in everything. i absolutely love the hawaian flowers they had last year. There is ample amount of paid parking available all around. Its good idea to visit in the afternoon when the crowds are limited.

The Philadelphia Flower Show is held every year in March at the Philadelphia Convention Center in Center City. It is a great way to get ready for spring and enjoy the beautiful garden displays. You don't feel like you are in the Convention Center- each display transports you to some other world. It gets very crowded, so go early to avoid the crowds. Take advantage of the cooking demonstrations and the other demos going on. The train is a great way to go and avoid parking hassles.
