Great corner bistro and BYOB 12/10/2005

What a great place to eat! The prices are reasonable, atmosphere is fun and social, and the food is out of this world!! Try the mussels and clams which they are very well known for. My only concern was my steak was overcooked a few levels, but other than that my dining experience there was great! Note: This is a cash only and BYOB establishment! more

Delicious food 10/19/2005

The food here is excellent and always delicious. Their flatbread appetizer is yummy, and I love their mussels and their paparadelle dish. Prices are decent for a BYO. The waiters are always nice, but don’t expect to have an intimate conversation with your fellow diners—the tables are cramped and it’s very loud. more

Everything about Audrey Claire is refreshing; the decor, the big, beautiful windows that are thrown open in nice weather, the pleasant waitstaff. The menu is mostly centered around American classics with a twist. Simply prepared flavorful food in a relaxed atmosphere. BYOB. Of note, it bothered me that they did not provide wineglasses but small short glasses like those used for water or soda. Wine drinkers might be annoyed by this (I was) more

Simple and Cozy BYO 8/21/2005

I lived in the neighborhood for two years before finally going to Audrey Claire, but it was worth the wait. Our server was friendly, if a bit disheveled. Our appetizers and entrees came out promptly, but not so quickly as to make us feel rushed. The food was creative and flavorful. Decor very understated (stark white walls), and it became a bit loud, but what do you expect from such a small place? There is outdoor seating and plentiful people-watching; it is about 2-3 blocks from the Park. I believe they accept reservations (some BYOs in Philly do not). No credit cards. more

Audrey's got it! 8/15/2005

Still hip, fun, casual BYOB bistro. Great date place. Audrey keeps the small jewel box happening by serving some of the freshest seasonal foods in town. Be prepared though to add your two cents to the conversation at the next table if asked, the tables are that close. Be ready for long wait times, especially in the spring and fall when the windows can be opened. more
