You can never go to this place too many times. It's so old fashioned and it's one of my favorite things about it. It is home to everything from operas to orchestras. Both of which I have seen here. I haven't been since it was renovated, but I imagine it's only more worth it to go now than before. If you haven't been, it's a must.

The Academy is a jewel in the crown of Philadelphia's cultural crown. It is old and beautiful. It dates from another era and the decor is charming. I have been there for several ballets and always enjoy the show. Swan Lake is my favorite. The dancing, costumes and music is heavenly. Also, the Nutcracker at Christmastime is a wonderful extravaganza that always is a big hit with children and adults of all ages.

this is agreat little computer store. they make their own computers and sell them for reasonable prices. they also sell all the computer accesories that one could possibly need. you can also just walk in and ask them questions about all your computer issues. just stop by and check them out.

Set dance lessons are also offered Wednesday evenings. I've not taken formal lessons, but the teachers seem pretty patient and understanding about people like me who don't know what they're doing. Everyone's friendly and wants to ensure you have a good time; they'll encourage you and guide you. my friends and i wanted to learn some latin dance so we went and took lessons at amla. they had many competent dance teachers and they were very helpful in getting us to master the moves. it was also a place where we made quite a few friends. they took a very hands on approach and thats what helped us a lot.

any garment 1.69 the name says it all. Shirts are even cheaper. no place can beat these stores. If you get it by 9 you get back by 4. so drop your clothes early in the morning and its done by evening. cleaning is done on premises and the work is very competent. never had a problem. with them even you are dissatisfied they will redo it again.

there are many computer stores in the area but this place is very close to the penn campus. they are pretty good and provide computer services and parts. the main selling point they offer is their location to the penn campus. students usually go to the ITA's at penn or to the bookstore for their computer needs, but this place is ok.
